Marly POV

“It is true. You are her brother,” the Rogue King repeated. The man stood there in shock. “You are joking, right?” he asked, seeking some type of reasonable explanation for what he was hearing. “Not at all. She is your sister; soon to be my mate,” he stated confidently.

The man walked away from us, not saying a word, before turning back and coming to stand in front of me. “We are twins?” he asked. I nodded, “Yes,” I replied softly. He simply stared at me. “All of these years, I have felt like I was missing something. Years where I felt pain, when I had no reason to. Was that you?” he asked.

“I do not know for certain, but I did experience a lot of pain over the years from abuse I took at the hands of my non biological parents,” I admitted. He looked sad, “Did you feel anything?” he asked. “I felt like I was missing something. But I was also hoping there was an explanation for why my family hated me so much,”

I captured her lips for a lingering kiss, until someone pounded on the bathroom door.
