Abused and Neglected

The Lycan's Secret Mate 1

Abused and Neglected: Liliana.

I am Liliana, and my life has been nothing but misery and pain since my family died trying to save strangers. The pack that we were a part of was once a loving and caring community, but now it has turned into a place of cruelty and abuse.

After my family's death, I was left alone and vulnerable. The other members of the pack saw me as a burden and a liability, and they made it very clear that I was not welcome. I was subjected to verbal and physical abuse on a daily basis, with some of the more sadistic pack members taking pleasure in beating me.

The alpha of the pack turned a blind eye to my suffering, and even seemed to take pleasure in it. He would often watch as I was beaten and abused, doing nothing to stop it. I was left to suffer in silence, with no one to turn to for help.

As time went on, my situation only got worse. I was forced to live in squalor, with little food or water. I was often chained up and left outside, exposed to the elements. I was treated like an animal, and sometimes even worse than that.

Despite everything that has happened to me, I have not given up hope. I know that there must be a way out of this nightmare, and I am determined to find it. I will not let the cruel and heartless members of this pack break me. I will fight until the very end, and I will not rest until I am free.

I woke up to the sound of a whip cracking against the wall. Startled, I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes, trying to clear the sleep from them. It was then that I realized that the whip wasn't just a dream - it was real. Someone was trying to get my attention.

As I stumbled out of bed and dressed myself, my mind raced with possibilities. Who would be waking me up like this? And for what reason?

The answer came quickly when I saw my pack leader waiting for me at the door. Without saying a word, he handed me a piece of paper with instructions to go to the park well and retrieve a certain item.

I didn't have time to ask any questions, as I was immediately ushered out of the pack house and onto the dirt road that led to the park. It was still dark outside, but I could see the outline of trees and bushes in the distance.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of rustling leaves and branches. I looked up and saw a pack of wolves charging towards me, their eyes glowing in the darkness.

My heart racing, I realized that I was defenseless. I had never been trained to fight or defend myself, and now I was facing a pack of wild animals.

As the wolves closed in on me, I closed my eyes and braced for impact. But to my surprise, they didn't attack. They simply circled me, growling and snarling, before eventually wandering off into the woods.

Shaken, I made my way back to the pack house, nursing a few scrapes and bruises from the encounter. But when I arrived, I was met with more violence - this time from my own pack mates.

Apparently, they were angry with me for not completing the task and bringing back the requested item. They beat me mercilessly, ignoring my protests that I had been attacked by wolves.

In the end, I lay on the ground, battered and bruised, wondering what I had done to deserve such treatment. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find an answer.

I was feeling suffocated in my room, so I decided to go outside and get some fresh air. As I walked through the forest, I couldn't help but think about my father. He had always been kind to everyone, including the wolves that roamed the woods.

As I reached a clearing, I saw a group of wolves gathered together. My heart raced as I recognized the pack leader. He was a massive wolf with a fierce look in his eyes. I remembered my father telling me about him and how he had saved his life once when he was lost in the woods.

I walked towards the pack leader, hoping that he would show me the same kindness that he had shown my father. "Excuse me," I said, trying to get his attention. "I know that you don't know me, but my father was kind to you when he was alive. I hope that you can show me the same kindness."

The pack leader looked at me with contempt in his eyes. "Your father may have been kind to me, but that doesn't mean that I have to be kind to you," he sneered. "You humans are all the same. You destroy our forests and kill our kind. You deserve nothing but contempt."

I was taken aback by his words. I had never done anything to harm the wolves or their habitat. I had always respected nature and all its creatures. "Please," I begged. "I mean no harm. I just want to enjoy the beauty of the forest."

The pack leader laughed at me. "You humans are all the same. You take and take and take, and you never give anything back. You think that you're entitled to everything. Well, let me tell you something. You're not entitled to anything. You're nothing but a parasite on this earth."

Tears streamed down my face as I realized that there was no reasoning with the pack leader. He was set in his ways, and nothing I could say or do would change his mind. I turned around and ran back to my house, feeling defeated and heartbroken.

As I lay in my bed, I couldn't help but think about the encounter with the pack leader. I knew that not all wolves were like him, but his words had cut me deeply. I vowed to be more respectful of nature and all its creatures, and to do my part to make the world a better place

I never thought that being called a human would hurt so much. I mean, I knew that I was different from the other wolves. I could understand human speech, and I had lived among humans for most of my life. But I had always considered myself a wolf at heart.

That's why it hurt so much when he called me a human. We had been arguing about something trivial, and he had let slip the insult as a way to get under my skin. And it worked. I felt tears prickling at the corners of my eyes.

"You're just a human," he sneered, as if it were the worst insult in the world.

"I'm not a human," I protested. "I'm a wolf, just like you."

He laughed at me. "You may look like a wolf, but you're not. You're a human who thinks she's a wolf. You don't belong here, with us."

I felt like I had been punched in the gut. It was true that I didn't belong with the other wolves. I didn't hunt with them or run with them. But I had always felt like I was a part of the pack, that they accepted me for who I was.

But now I knew that wasn't true. To them, I was just a freak, a human who didn't know her place. And it hurt.

I tried to hold back the tears, but they flowed freely down my cheeks. I turned and ran away from the pack, not wanting them to see me like this. I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of knowing that their words had hurt me.

As I ran through the woods, I felt a sense of despair wash over me. Maybe I wasn't a wolf after all. Maybe I was just a human pretending to be something I wasn't. But even if that were true, I didn't want to give up. I wanted to prove to myself and to the pack that I belonged with them, that I was a wolf through and through.

I wiped away my tears and took a deep breath, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. I may not have been a true wolf, but I was determined to become one. And no amount of insults or hurtful words could change that.

" But why does everyone call me human???
