I try to move, but my hands seem to be chained and I can only move so far as a wave of pain runs through me. I snap my eyes at the person sitting next to me as he tightens his arm around me. A shiver of fear, along with another wave of intense pain, runs through me. I struggle and try to move, but another wave of pain runs through me and I end up screaming.

"You need to push, little female!"

I hear a low growl added to a low roar at his nickname for us. I don't want to do what he says, but my body has other ideas and I have no choice but to push. I push and push with each wave of pain until I finally feel my pup slip from inside me.

I fall exhausted back against the headboard of the bed, and into the arms of the male sitting half next to and half behind me. I lift my head as one more wave of pain goes through me and I push once more. Something else slips from inside me, which the healer picks up and drops into something on the floor.
