Harper sat down in her bed and crossed her arms. She tried to keep herself busy that day with her modelling work, but something was still bothering her mind.
It was about her brothers and that stranger woman they brought into the house.
She had not seen her brothers in a year and was looking forward to seeing them again.
Even though they were not full blood siblings, she didn’t hate them at all. She actually wanted to become closer to them, not just because of their wealth and fortune, but because life would be better if she had them as her backing.
Yet when she finally saw them again, they showed the brotherly affection she so desperately wanted to gain from them to a woman they barely even knew.
Harper simply couldn’t accept it. Throughout her life, she tried so hard to gain approval from both of them.
