Sebastian was silent as he dragged me out of the bar that night.

He didn’t say a word. Didn’t even glance at me. His grip on my wrist was firm—not enough to hurt, but enough to make a point. I followed, letting him lead me across the dimly lit parking lot like a prisoner. The streetlamps buzzed overhead, casting long, eerie shadows across the asphalt.

“Sebastian, I handled myself just fine,” I muttered, trying to cut through his anger with a trace of defiance.

He didn’t answer. He didn’t have to. His silence was louder than anything he could say.

When we reached the car, he yanked the passenger door open and stood there. His face was hard, unreadable. I slid into the seat, folding my arms tightly over my chest.

“Come on,” I said, looking up at him. “Please?”

He still wouldn’t speak. Just clicked the seatbelt over my shoulder and slammed the door shut.

Once he slid into the driver’s seat, I tried again. “I called you. I swear I did.”

He didn’t respond. Instead, he turned the key, and t

“Fucking bitch, you really outdid yourself this time.”His voice was thick with venom as he glanced around the darkened road, rage and panic twisting his features. This path wasn’t on the map—an old, nearly forgotten service road built through the woods and only remembered by criminals and ghosts. A bridge hung over the gully, no lighting, no witnesses. The perfect place for someone to disappear.Anxiety succumbs their faces as they struggle to point their flashlights over the sea of trees that covered both sides. It didn’t help that the bridge sealed him in constant darkness, away from the mercy of moonlight.A perfect place to kill.I had vanished into the shadows, crawling into the thick veil of trees lining the roadside. Their flashlights skimmed the forest edges like dying lighthouses, unable to penetrate the heavy dark. Anxiety painted their faces. They weren’t hunters anymore. They were prey.“Fucking find her already!” he shouted, voice cracking under pressure. One by one, the

This was my third shift tonight, and I was running on fumes—emotionally, physically, and mentally. I had danced for hours, twisting my body for the hungry eyes of men who didn’t care about the soul behind the movements. All I could think about was Letty. Still no leads. Still no answers. And Davide? That bastard was untouchable—for now.Somewhere out there, Sebastian was watching. Enjoying the show, perhaps. That infuriating man always had eyes on me. He said it was to protect me, but sometimes, it felt like something darker. Possession, maybe. Control.I wiped the sweat from my brow as my shift ended. Predictably, some men followed me to the alley. They were drunk, loud, and sloppy, thinking their wallets gave them a right to my body. I was getting used to brushing them off by now—until something changed.A loud honk echoed from the back of the bar, sharp enough to cut through the midnight silence. A truck—blacked-out windows, no plates—pulled up and parked like it owned the damn str

My knees weakened at the news of Letty. As if on cue, the detective reached out, steadying me as I lost my strength. I could barely hear the thud of my knees threatening to give in beneath me. Letty—missing? It couldn’t be. I had just spoken to her two nights ago. Laughed with her. Thanked her.If she vanished right after I dropped her off…She was taken."Seems like you know her," he said, watching my expression with scrutiny.I steadied my voice, burying the tremor. "I’ve just seen her around. We’ve said hi a few times."He narrowed his eyes slightly, not convinced but willing to let it go. "She’s been missing for two days. If you hear anything, call me. Your contribution might save a life."He handed me his card, his fingers brushing mine briefly. The moment he walked out the bar’s red-lit door, nausea hit me like a wave.I couldn't breathe. The music inside pounded through the floorboards, but it felt muted now. Distant. I darted to the back of the bar, pushing through the emergen

  • The Mafia Devil's Princess   Pole Dancing

Distant moaning echoed through the narrow halls as the night deepened. Clients were beginning to leave the bar downstairs, but many of them were heading upstairs instead, disappearing into the exclusive V.I.P. rooms. My final task for the night was pole dancing, and the girls backstage were helping me prepare."Make her makeup thicker," one of them said, her tone serious. "She needs to be unrecognizable."I thought I would struggle to fit in here, but I was surprised. These women, who looked intimidating at first glance, hid a quiet kindness behind their painted masks and guarded expressions."If they can’t recognize you, they won’t follow you outside," another girl added, adjusting my lashes."But that means I’ll have to look different every night?" I asked hesitantly."Exactly. That’s even better," she replied, handing me a revealing red outfit. "Here. Put this on and go make yourself some money."I took the outfit, exhaling deeply as I shut my eyes. Just dancing. That’s all this wa

  • The Mafia Devil's Princess   Entertainer

It took a lot of convincing for Sebastian to finally agree with my plan. I admit it was crazy, but it was my best bet for gathering evidence. I can’t risk having Letty grab the proof for me. Davide’s eyes are already suspicious of her. One wrong move and it can cost Letty her life.My only choice without risking Letty is to feed myself to the wolves.“Are you sure about this?”I removed my jacket, revealing a sultry outfit underneath. Sebastian clenched his jaw and looked at me intently from the car’s mirror, ogling me with a thirsty gaze. “I still don’t think this is a good idea, princess.”“You suggested that we should be sneaky,” I looked directly at him from the mirror.“Why do we have to target Davide Hail, too? We can go straight for Damian if that’s what you want.”“Our client availed our services, Sebastian. It’s in your oath not to refuse them, right?”He rolled his eyes, took a pair of earpieces, and leaned closer to me.“You better not have too much fun in there, princess.
