Damian’s voice cut through the thick silence like a blade.

“Selene. Drop the gun.”

His pistol was trained squarely at his sister’s head. His hands didn’t shake, his eyes didn’t falter. The cold gleam in his gaze was the same one I had seen in boardrooms and blood-soaked alleys. Ruthless. Calculating. This wasn’t about saving his son—this was about control.

Selene’s fingers twitched against the trigger. She pressed the muzzle harder into Daryl’s temple, and the boy let out a strangled sob. My chest twisted, but I didn’t let it show.

“Y-You wouldn’t dare,” Selene spat, voice cracking. Sweat dripped down her temple, her perfectly curled hair disheveled from the chaos. “He’s my blood too, Damian! Our legacy! You’d kill your own nephew?”

“I’d kill anyone who stands in the way of order,” Damian replied coldly. “Even you.”

The Noir de Costas shifted, rifles snapping up in unison, their black-clad bodies like shadows waiting for a command.

“Madam!” one of them called, his voice sharp with urg

  • The Mafia Devil's Princess   Manipulator

The battlefield had gone eerily quiet. The last Viper hit the floor with a heavy thud, and the clang of his rifle echoed in the vast underground chamber. The air was thick with gunpowder, smoke, and the copper tang of blood. My lungs burned, my arm was slick with my own blood from a graze across my bicep, but I refused to falter. The Noir de Costas stood around me like a wall of shadows, their knives still wet, their gazes trained on every exit.Every enemy had been wiped out.Except one.Selene.She emerged from the dark like a phantom, her heels clicking against the blood-slick floor, her once-pristine hair wild and unkempt, her face streaked with sweat and desperation. But it wasn’t the sight of her that made my stomach clench—it was the trembling figure she held in front of her.Daryl.The boy’s eyes were wide, his small hands clawing against her grip as Selene pressed a gun against his temple. His sobs broke through the silence, jagged and raw, tearing through me like shards of g

The gun pressed firm against Kaspian’s forehead. My arm was steady, my eyes colder than the barrels trained at me from his men. The fight around us had gone quiet, gunfire fading into groans and the metallic clatter of dropped weapons. The Noir de Costas had carved through the Vipers like shadows through fire—swift, merciless, leaving only embers in their wake. Now, the only sound was Kaspian’s ragged breathing against the steel of my weapon.“Checkmate,” I whispered. For the first time, his smirk faltered. His cocky, untouchable façade cracked, and beneath it was the raw man—the boy who had been chasing shadows his entire life. His eyes blazed with something feral, a rage mixed with desperation, and his voice came out like a guttural roar.“Why?!” he spat, his body trembling against the pressure of the gun. “Why is it always him? Why does Sebastian get everything? Why does he get you? Why does he get love, loyalty, devotion—and I get nothing?”His chest heaved, his words spilling lik

  • The Mafia Devil's Princess   Princess Has Come To Save

A dozen rifles lifted in unison, the red dots of their laser sights slicing across the dim air. My heart didn’t even twitch.Kaspian leaned lazily on the butt of his rifle, a smirk curving his lips like he was welcoming me to a stage he’d prepared for months. His voice cut through the thick tension, slick and poisonous.“You’ve grown bold, princess,” he drawled, his tone dipped in mockery. “But tell me—do you really think your little rebellion can tear down my empire? You’re just a broken toy. A widow clinging to ghosts. You couldn’t even save your child.”My lungs froze for a fraction of a second. He knew where to aim, pressing his words into the old wounds I had sewn shut with fire and vengeance. His eyes glinted with malice, hungry for my reaction, for the crack in my mask.I tilted my head, lips curving—not in defeat, but in venom.“I stopped being lost the day I decided to kill you.”Before his smirk could widen, my hand moved. My gun snapped up and fired, the bullet screaming pa

The skyscraper towered above me, its jagged glass face fractured by the reflection of neon lights. The city pulsed with shadows and deals, its veins running thick with greed and poison. I had walked into many dens before, but this one… this one reeked of Sebastian’s blood.Damian trailed beside me, his hood pulled low to disguise the unmistakable arrogance in his face. Yet arrogance only got you so far—fear was written in the tight clench of his jaw, in the twitch of his fingers near his pocket, as if grasping for something that might give him control again. He wasn’t used to following anyone. But tonight, he followed me.Behind us, the Noir de Costas bled into the darkness. My shadows, my family of knives, guns, and unbreakable loyalty. Their movements were silent, surgical. Already, the higher floors of this skyscraper were whispering with death as the Noirs cleaned house—drug dealers cut down in alleys, bodies left cooling beneath fluorescent glow. We moved with the night itself, h

  • The Mafia Devil's Princess   Two Cuts

The war room was dimly lit, the scent of cigarette smoke clinging to the walls like ghosts of our dead. A single bulb swung overhead, casting an uneven glow across the long table where maps, photographs, and hastily scribbled notes sprawled like veins of a living beast. My beast. My army. My Noir de Costas.I stood at the head of the table, palms pressed against the wood, eyes locked on the skyscraper blueprint spread before me. Its black ink lines marked the territory of the Vipers—front companies by day, drug dens by night. Their arrogance was stamped in neon, and tonight, I was going to burn that arrogance down to ash.“They think the night shields them,” I said, my voice cutting through the silence like a blade. Every pair of eyes lifted to me. “But the night is ours. Their skyscrapers may rise above the city, but shadows climb higher.”A murmur of approval rippled through them. Alessio whispered, “We hit them at the shift. Office rats out, dealers in. Perfect choke point. Their g
