Chapter 40

As she said Chloe prepared the files and presentation for the meeting. Before she slept Dave sent her the paper she asked for, she placed it on the table beside her bed and slept afterward.

The Next Morning

Chloe was all done with the papers for the party. Dave was already left for work, he told her he wouldn't be at the office today and didn't state any reason when Chloe asked for it.

The office meeting is to take place after lunch, Chloe decided that she could go to the office in the afternoon then have her meeting and take a leave for the first half of the day.

As Dave said that he could help her with the dress. He booked a designer for her and asked him to go to his house with all the dresses he had.

He informed Chloe of the designer and sent his number to her.

In the meantime, Chloe received a call from one of her colleagues Zena.
