LOGINIsabella’s POV
I don’t remember falling.
One moment, I was standing, taking one step toward the bathroom like Emily told me to, and the next… everything went black. Not the soft kind of darkness. The kind that swallows you whole. Just like the one that enveloped my life on my wedding day.
When I opened my eyes, the first thing I smelled was antiseptic.
Hospitals always smell the same-cold, and faith.
My head was pounding and my body felt weak, like something had been pulled out of me. I tried to move my fingers, then my legs. Pain shot through my lower body, sharp and sudden, making me gasp.
“Bella… Bella, you’re awake.”
I heard Emily’s voice.
I turned my head slowly to her. She was sitting beside the bed, her eyes red and swollen. She looked like she had been crying for hours.
“What… what happened?” My voice came out dry and broken.
“You fainted, and started bleeding,” she said softly. “And I brought you here, we are at the hospital.”
I swallowed. My throat hurt. Everything hurt. “Why do I feel like this?”
Emily didn’t answer immediately.
She stood up, walked toward the door, then stopped. Her shoulders shook. When she turned back to me, her face crumpled, and that was when fear finally wrapped its hands around my heart.
“Emily?” I whispered. “What’s wrong?”
She came back to my side, took my hand in both of hers, and squeezed it like she was afraid I would disappear.
“The doctor said…” Her voice broke. She took a deep breath. “Bella… you were pregnant.”
The words didn’t register at first.
Pregnant?
“No,” I said immediately. “That’s not possible.”
She shook her head, tears spilling freely now. “You were. But the stress… the shock… the fainting…”
My heart started racing. “Emily, stop. Please stop.”
Her grip tightened. “You lost the baby.”
The room tilted.
I stared at the ceiling, unable to breathe, unable to scream. My chest felt hollow, like someone had ripped something out of me without asking.
A baby.
Sebastian’s baby. Our baby, that was supposed to bound us together.
My body started shaking. Tears poured down my temples into my hair. “No… no… no…” I whispered over and over again. “I didn’t even know… I didn’t even get to protect it…”
Emily leaned over me, hugging me carefully. “I’m so sorry, Bella. I’m so, so sorry.”
"But why didn't you tell me, how can you be three months pregnant and not be aware?" Emily asked me accusingly.
But I couldn't answer her, because that was carelessness. This could have been avoided had the t been i was more careful. No, this baby couldn't survive the pressure of the agony in me even if he was properly taken care of. It would have been a reason to bring us back. Me and sebastian, but now that i lost it, there's nothing that can bring sebastian back to me, maybe magic.I cried until my chest hurt. Until my eyes burned. Until my heart felt like it would never beat normally again.
When the tears finally slowed, one thought remained.
Sebastian.
He deserved to know.
“I need to see him,” I said suddenly.
Emily pulled back. “Bella—”
“I have to,” I insisted, my voice weak but firm. “He needs to know. About the baby. About everything.”
She looked at me like she was scared for me. “He hurt you. He didn’t listen.”
“I know,” I whispered. “But this… this was ours. And even if he hates me, he deserves to know that we lost something together.”
I stared at the white hospital walls, my hand resting over my stomach.
Empty.
And all I could think was that maybe—just maybe—this would make him listen.
Even if it broke me all over again.

Isabella’s pov Camilla had barely parked my bag in our apartment before she turned to me, her eyes soft but heavy with concern.“Bella… I’m sorry, dear. I think you should rest,” she said, voice gentle. “Stop thinking about all this. If he’s meant for you, he’ll come back. You guys… you’ll reconcile. Just… rest, okay?”I nodded numbly, the words barely registering. She was right, of course. Maybe he would come back. But right now… my chest felt like it had been hollowed out, leaving a raw, aching emptiness. I didn’t even have the energy to argue.Camilla gave me a quick, awkward hug, ruffling my hair like she used to when we were kids. “Promise me you’ll try to rest. And Bella… don’t blame yourself too much, okay?”I tried to nod again, but the lump in my throat made it impossible. She gave me a final pat on the shoulder, smiled weakly, and left. The door clicked shut behind her, leaving me in silence.I sank down onto the sofa, pressing my face into my hands. Every inch of my body w
Dante’s povI opened the door simply because she forgot her payment. But the moment the door swung open, I walked straight into a scene I didn’t expect. Some man — clearly furious and unhinged — was standing in the hallway, pointing at the woman I had just slept with. His voice was raised, his veins were popping.“So this is what you do the night before our wedding? You sleep with another man?”I blinked once. What kind of nonsense…?The woman — the woman tried to explain but couldn’t, so she whipped around to look at me like I was her salvation.Explain? To who?For what?I stared at her for half a second. Her hair was still messy from the night, and i was half naked with just a towel around my waist. And this man looked like he was about to strangle her on the spot.Nope.Absolutely not.Whatever this drama was, it wasn’t mine.So I did the simplest, cleanest thing possible.I shut the door. And for a moment, I just stood there, the silence pressing against the door like the world o
Isabella’s pov The words hit me like a hammer, shattering my chest into a thousand jagged pieces. I froze, unable to breathe. My legs and hand felt weak and numb. He was standing there, calm in his resolve, cold in a way that made my heart ache more than the physical pain of seeing him turn away. “No, Sebastian… please. You’re… you can’t just—” I tried to reach for him, but he didn’t flinch. Sebastian moved toward the corner of the room where his luggage sat waiting. My heart plummeted. That suitcase, sleek and dark, now… it would carry Sebastian out of my life. Camila stepped forward, her voice shaking as she tried to intervene. “Sebastian, wait! Please! She didn’t know what she was doing. You can’t just end this now. We can fix this—maybe nothing happened in the room…maybe you were just overthinking.” I clutched her arm, tears streaming down my cheeks. “Camila… tell him! Please! You know me! You know I would never hurt him. The love i have for him wouldn’t let me do that!” Seb
The door behind me swung open. My heart skipped a beat, and I froze, caught between the panic of yesterday and the confusion of now.“Hey… you forgot—”The man, the stranger from last night, stepped out, but his words died on his lips. His eyes widened, scanning the hallway, confused, before finally landing on… Sebastian. My Sebastian. My fiancé.“Bella?” Sebastian’s voice was tight, sharp, disbelief and anger curling in every syllable. “What… what is this? What am I seeing?” I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. My tongue felt heavy, my words stuck in my throat. Heat flared in my cheeks as i tried to speak, i wanted to explain, but it sounded ridiculous even in my head. “I… I can’t… it’s not…it’s not what it looks like.. i promise.. Seb—“Sebastian took a step forward, eyes blazing. “Did you sleep with someone? On the day of our wedding? Isabella, is this how you’re going to humiliate me?”“No! No, no, no, it’s not like that. I can explain right now,” I stammered, my hands shakin
Isabella’s pov “One more shot, Bella,” Camila insisted, her grin impossibly wide. I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t stop the small smile that tugged at my lips. “Fine,” I said, raising the glass. The alcohol burned going down, but the warmth spread through me, mingling with the nervous excitement of tomorrow. My wedding day. “See? That wasn’t so bad,” Camila teased, clinking her glass against mine. “Now, take another. You’ll thank me later.” I obeyed, the room spinning slightly, with faint laughter buzzing around me. Emily was perched on the sofa, shaking her head but smiling fondly. “Why did you get so much drunk, Bella? Well, i’m sleepy.” She said while standing up. “See you tomorrow, okay?” I barely registered her words. The warmth inside me had begun to twist into something more… urgent and distracting. I was horny. My body was reacting in ways that made my cheeks burn. “I… I can’t… stand,” I murmured, swaying on my heels. My legs felt like jelly. Camila caught me effortlessl
