Chapter 16

Della's POV

After Alessandro left, me and Daisy went through our entire day together. I took her to the shopping center so we could get more winter garments. Then we went to the children’s park and from that point forward, we ate at Mcdonald's.

We strolled around New York a bit and I took her to see the Stature of Liberty. I quite went to see it very close either so I was happy we both got to see it together.

Thereafter, after I put Daisy to sleep, changed into something warm and waited for Molly to come over to my place, I left for work.

"Hello shortcake, I missed you!" Fedele says while standing over the bar to give me an embrace.

I grin and embrace him back, "I missed you as well."

I feel a couple of arms fold over my midsection and haul me out of Fedele's embrace, once more into a hard chest.

I look over my shoulder to see Alessandro's look centered around me. He twists his head down and gives me a possessive kiss while his arms wrap all the more emphatically around me.
