It was ok in my imagination, the crack I heard was from me as my head slammed onto the hard wood of the bed and I saw

blood.

That was the first thing I saw.

Daniel grabbed me toward the edge, and I stumbled, feeling dazed. My head spun and he kept talking, barking something about loyalty, betrayal and Leo being a monster. I couldn’t process it. The room smelled of cigar smoke, blood, and stale lies.

"What... what did you do to me?" I slurred, hating the sweet feeling on my body as his hands clawed at my skin.

He smiled.

He Fucking smiled with the demonice face of his.

"Just a little something to help you loosen up. Don’t worry, baby. You’re gonna like this part."

I stumbled back, but my knees gave way. I hit the floor, hard but he was above me in seconds, unbuttoning his shirt with one hand, grabbing my face with the other. My vision blurred, but I could still see the hatred in his eyes. The jealousy. The absolute madness.
