Elijah:

I kept my arms around Anastasia, watching as she submitted to my touch. Gently kissing her cheek, I felt her tensed body relax as she gave in.

I turned her to face me, cupping her cheeks as I did, connecting our lips in a gentle kiss. She didn’t kiss me back for the first few seconds, most probably debating on whether or not to believe me. I ran my finger over her jawline, smiling into the kiss when she pressed her lips against my own, kissing me back. She was hurt, I knew that, and knowing that she somewhat ended up feeling alone didn’t make things any better.

“If you two are done arguing, we can actually get back to business” Vladimir teased. I had the man to thank for being able to both find and make up with her. Having told me that she left, I sent Yaroslav to try and trace where she went only to receive a message from Vladimir that she was at his hotel.
