Epilogue

It was raining, it was like the sky too grieved, the only thing that broke the silence was Diana screams as she struggled against the men holding her back, she wanted to run to Shawn's coffin, Amelia should have been there to comfort her, but she couldn't she felt so much guilt, if Shawn had not given her his bullet proof vest, maybe he would still be alive, if he hadn't come to save her, he would still be alive with Diana, they were the perfect match, but he wasn't. The words the priest spoke were all jumbled up in her own ears, she couldn't pick one word, save for the last statement the priest made before Shawn's coffin was put under.

"He would always be alive in our heart and soul, though his dead, he lives on"

Xavier held me to his chest as he walked to the stand, it was his turn.
