Chapter 2 - Their First Meeting

The man turned around and looked at her, maybe as Neha couldn't understand as he was wearing black sunglasses. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants giving those dashing businessman vibes.

He was good looking but his face looked kinda dangerous which scared her. She kept looking at him as she didn't know what to say.

Soon the silence started making her awkward so she thought to say something.

"I am sorry for scratching your car. Please don't scold me!" She said cutely and bowed her head.

But the man didn't say anything and kept looking towards her.

"I can smell blood!" He said suddenly, making her confused a lot.

His voice is so good, she thought as she kept ogling at him.

"You are bleeding." He said in an annoyed tone as he didn't get any response from her.

Neha looked at herself properly and then realised that her ankle was hurting a little bit. So she pulled up her saree a little and looked at her right ankle to see it got scratched and a little bit of blood had come out.

She got confused as she couldn't understand how he smelled just a little bit of blood and understood that she was hurt!

The man opened the passenger seat door and took out a first aid box. Then he stretched out his hand towards her to give the first aid box.

Neha took it and kept looking at him as she won't be able to do it while standing. Maybe he understood her thought and opened the door of the backseat and motioned with his hand to sit inside.

Neha sat down quietly and kept her legs dangling outside of the car. He snatched the box from her and sat down on one knee.

He kept her injured leg on his lap and gave first aid to her. All the time she kept ogling at him like a creep and he could feel her gaze on him.

"Fucking stop staring at me!" He snapped at her.

"Sorry!" She muttered and got up from the seat.

"I will pay for the damage I made on your car!" She said feeling guilty but he still didn't say anything and just kept looking towards her.

She wanted to remove his sunglasses and see his full face and also wanted to know if he was looking at her just like she was looking at him creepily.

Suddenly a young man around his age came running from the tall building. They exchanged some words in a very low voice and went away leaving her confused.

"So arrogant! Didn't even reply. He could at least say, you can go, no problem or pay for the damage you have done to my car! Knows how to talk but was behaving like a mute!" She said getting annoyed.

She picked the scooter and sat down and without wasting any second went away from there.

The man was standing at the entrance of the building. As Neha went away, after a few seconds he went inside the building thinking something.

Flashback Ends

The small memory made a smile on her face as she again kept thinking about the mysterious person. Her heart always feels warm thinking about him.

"He was rude but sweet at the same time! He was a little bit weird too! But why do I keep thinking about a stranger whom I will never meet again?" She said, thinking deeply.

She just met him once but his face is still fresh in her mind like his face is unforgettable.

The cool wind touched her and she came out of her dreamland, realising she was dreaming standing in the road. She shook her head smiling like a fool but soon frowned.

"Today is so bad. First a nightmare, now an accident. My guts is saying that the ending won't be good either!" She sighed deeply and picked up the scooter to start her journey to her college again.

Within twenty minutes, she reached her college and she parked the scooter. She went towards the entrance and found Piya standing there, they both waved at each other smiling.

"Bitch, you are late, I have been waiting for you for so long!" Piya started scolding her and noticed that she hurt her elbow.

"Dude, what happened?" Piya asked while inspecting her elbow, where blood came out and started drying up.

Neha narrated to her whatever happened and Piya fumed in anger.

"I will kill that bloody driver, you got hurt so badly because of him!" Piya roared, thinking to teach that car owner a lesson.

"Yeah, kill him but later. Let's not get late to our lectures." Neha smiled and dragged her towards their college.

Later That Day

"Piya, I gotta go. Hearty must be missing me and it's getting very late." Neha informed, getting up from her seat while Piya also followed her.

They came out of the cafe with their takeouts which consisted of some delicious pastries.

"I can drop you!" Piya told her, seeing it was already past evening so she was scared to let go of Neha on her own.

"Then who will drop my scooter?" Neha asked giggling and assured her that she can go on her own.

"Fine but call me when you reach!" Piya ordered her like a mummy and went inside her car.

Neha waved her bye while the car drove away and she sat down on her scooter.

Thank God, the cafe wasn't very far from her house so she wasn't feeling scared to go alone. As she entered the area of her apartment building, she stopped abruptly as there was complete darkness.

She stopped the scooter in the side and got down. She switched on the flashlight of her phone and looked around a little bit and understood that the electricity was gone, that's why there was complete darkness in the area!

She was kinda feeling scared as she never went to her house like that in darkness and the weather was chilly too which was giving her goosebumps.

"Looks like you are the only hope for me now!" She gloomily stared at her phone and started walking faster towards the building like some wild animal was running behind her to eat her.

She quickly entered through the entrance and going inside the building, she sighed in relief, trying to catch her breath. Then slowly started climbing the stairs as she wasn't feeling afraid now but her steps halted when she heard some footsteps coming from the entrance.

She gulped her saliva and gripped the phone tighter, she waited for a few seconds and as she couldn't hear the sound again, she thought it was just her mind playing with her. She started climbing up but after a few seconds later, she again stopped hearing some painful muffle breathing coming from behind her.

She quickly turned around and tried to look using the flashlight but saw no one.

"Don't you dare stop once again, just directly go to your apartment!" She encouraged herself and again she started moving quickly like the creature was just behind her.

She reached her floor in no minute and she took out her key from her bag. She unlocked the door and was about to step inside but two huge muscular hand grabbed her body and before she could scream, one hand blocked her mouth tightly and another hand was keeping her on her place by holding her waist.
