Yasmine POV

I followed her quietly downstairs; the mansion seems large, possibly a family villa. It's cozy and gives a warm and inviting atmosphere. Golden, wrought-iron chandeliers hung over the stairway and down into the living room below, and the stairway railings are made of wrought iron.

The house showcases a rustic interior featuring stone walls, terracotta floors, and exposed wooden beams. The stairway looks grand and leads into large, open living spaces with huge fireplaces. The arched doorways and windows have modern glass. There are antique furniture and sofas. It downright looks like a place out of a magazine.

She led me into a large library and stopped in front of an office desk where Luca was working. He had changed into a loose white shirt and black slacks, a more relaxed attire perhaps suitable for the less formal environment of his personal library, contrasting with what he might wear for business meetings. He looked up from his laptop at us, his expression unrea

  • The Mafia' s Bride   Chapter 14

Yasmine POV I opened my eyes and groaned, feeling sore and thoroughly used. I felt a band of arms surrounding me and looked back to see Luca had not left. It's almost dawn now. I sigh; it looks like I can't escape him no matter how much I try. Why not just go with the flow? At least I get a free vacation, delicious food, and hot sex in the mix. And he has made a lot of efforts for me, even giving me my own studio space to work. I sigh, feeling torn. I turn within his arms to get a good look at him. He's still in deep sleep and has dark stubble on his cheek. I slip out of his arms quietly and slide out of bed. I pick up his discarded clothes on the floor and fold them, placing them at the foot of the bed before dropping my gown in the hamper. I took a quick shower and changed into a simple white shirt and denim shorts, and headed to the studio. The studio is a large space with arched windows, giving it an airy feeling and plenty of light. The room is large enough and contains everyth

  • The Mafia' s Bride   Chapter 13

Luca POV I led her to the bathroom, and as soon as the water was hot enough, I picked up a loofah, applied a generous amount of shower gel, worked up a lather, and soaped up her chest and breasts, lightly massaging them. But she slapped my hands away and moved into the cascade of sprays. She picked a shampoo and applied it to her hair, but I beat her to it. "Let me do this!" I said gruffly, lightly biting the junction between her neck and shoulders. She stiffened but soon relaxed against me. I rinsed out her hair and washed the rest of her body before cleaning up myself. I switched off the sprays and sat on the bench in the shower stall, dragging her to sit on my lap before she could make her escape. I won't deny that it pleased me that she's finally where I want her. "Are you angry?" I prompt, drawing small circles on her thigh. She glares in reply, her eyes staring daggers at me. Even though she has not come to terms with this stage of our relationship, I can still bank on t

  • The Mafia' s Bride   Chapter 12

Yasmine POV "Shh..." he whispers, ascending over me as he captures my mouth in another profound kiss, a kiss that seemed to draw the very breath from my lungs and send it swirling back, laced with an unspoken intensity. Releasing me momentarily from the intoxicating embrace, he begins to undress, a deliberate and sensual act as he removes his shirt, revealing the taut muscles beneath, and then his slacks, which fall silently to the floor. Following this unveiling, he takes my hand, his touch both gentle and commanding, and guides it to enclose his hardened length, encouraging me with a subtle pressure to stroke him, a silent invitation to explore the burgeoning desire that pulsed between us. He groans, a deep, guttural sound that vibrates through the air, a testament to the pleasure and anticipation building within him, and then, with a fluid motion, he slides between my legs, positioning himself with careful precision, guiding the head of his shaft to my opening, a moment of exquis

Maria stood beside him filling his wine glass with some other maid standing against the wall silently waiting for further instructions. There are only two place settings one before him and the other by his right. It's probably a full Italian dinner and the appetizer served is crostini toscani, a dish made of toasted slices of hearty bread topped with creamy chicken liver pâté. Without saying a word to me Luca start eating after giving a few instructions to Maria. A few minutes later the maid served the first course taking away the plates of the appetizer. The first course is a fine dish of pici all' Aglione, a dish made of thick hand rolled pasta embellished with garlic and tomato sauce and chili flakes. But I can't seem to enjoy these fine dishes without wondering what is next in store for me. "I think I will retire for the night I can't eat anymore." I said placing down my fork. Luca looks up at me with stern eyes. "The food does not suit your palate?" he asked and I sho

  • The Mafia' s Bride   Chapter 10

Luca POV Releasing her, I step back a little, providing her with some breathing space. She looks dazed and reddened, clearly confused about her reaction. "I want to show you around and introduce you to the staff," I state, my voice calm and measured. She startles slightly at my words, and I smile inwardly, observing the effect my actions have on her. Her eyes widen, a telltale sign of surprise, even perhaps a hint of apprehension. By allowing her to move freely within the estate, I am subtly conveying my confidence and control, a silent declaration that I hold her, figuratively speaking, in the palm of my hands, and I am not afraid of allowing her to roam freely. This calculated approach is designed to reassure her, demonstrating that I am not a captor in the traditional sense. She looks even more confused and baffled, her expression a mixture of bewilderment and curiosity. What do I have to fear, after all? My family estate is situated several acres away from civilization, a v
