Chapter 77

Alex seemed distracted during the meeting; he could not pay attention to the presentation going on, all he could think of was Alyssa and the call he received from a strange number a while ago and what the person said to him.

“I won't spare you Tony if anything happens to my wife!” Alex muttered to himself angrily as he gritted his teeth.

“sir did you say something?” One of his partners asked.

“No! Am not talking to you. I just said something to myself” Alex replied.

“ok sir”

As Alex forced back on the presentation that was going on, his phone began to ring. It was Jake calling him.

“Oh my goodness. Did something happen?”

“Why is he calling me nonstop”

“Hope Alyssa is fine!” Immediately Alex mentioned Alex name in his head he stood up instantly like someone was controlling him.

“Sir we are still in the middle of the presentation” The man giving the presentation said.

“I know that already, but I have to do something that's really important and I can't just sit here and keep on waiting
