Brak!

"Mr. Lucas," a woman screamed in surprise when the door to the room where she was cleaning the king-size bed was suddenly opened roughly by someone.

The disheveled man staggered toward the woman, whose eyes were wide with fear.

"You shameless woman! I love you so much, but why are you having sex with my own cousin?" The tone of the man called Mr. Lucas rose.

"Sir, it hurts," moaned the woman, whose jaw was now being gripped tightly by the large hand of the man in front of her.

"It hurts? Does it hurt more than when I saw you happily playing on Dion's body? You shameless woman."

Smack!

A hard slap landed on the woman's cheek, and she couldn't hold back her tears.

"Mr. Lucas," said the woman softly, trying to endure the pain in her chin and cheek.

The man named Lucas roughly pushed the woman's body, which was currently in his room, until she fell onto the bed, and he quickly pinned her down. He roughly tore off her clothes and then took off his own.

"Mr. Lucas, what are you doing?" asked the woman, her lips trembling.

"I'm going to show you that I'm still better than my cousin."

"But—"

A second later, the man's lips kissed the woman's lips wildly, and even his hands explored the body of the woman who could only cry.

It wasn't that the woman didn't want to fight back, it was just that she knew who she was and who the man on top of her was. The man who seemed to be humiliating her was her own husband, and she had to obey whatever he did to her. It was her duty as a wife to serve her husband.

"Why are you so tight?" said Lucas as he tried to break through the woman's defenses beneath him.

However, a second later, Lucas got what he wanted, and he seemed satisfied that he had taught her a lesson and shown her that he was a very powerful man.

Lucas thrust into her repeatedly, and strangely, he felt an incredible sensation that he had never felt before with the woman he had caught cheating with his own cousin.

The woman who accompanied Lucas on his hot night tried to hold back her tears. Feelings of relief and pain mixed together in her heart. She was relieved because she had fulfilled her obligations as a wife, but she also felt hurt because her husband had treated her like a cheap woman on their first night together.

"He's asleep, I'd better go back to my room." The woman with shoulder-length hair walked away, slightly holding back the pain in her groin because last night, her husband had made her feel a sense of release countless times.

In her bathroom, she immediately turned on the shower, which released warm water. Under the shower, the woman's cries were heard once again.

"Even if he had asked me nicely, I would have given it to him because I realize that I am his wife. Mom, Dad, why is my life like this after you left me?"

***

The sun entered the large room. Lucas was blinded by the light that now hit his face.

"Shit! Who opened my curtains this early in the morning? Was it that dirty woman who dared to open my curtains? She's really stupid!" Lucas cursed as he pulled himself up and now sat leaning on the edge of his bed.

Lucas's hand slowly rubbed his aching head. He slowly remembered what had happened last night. "Last night, why did Miranda feel so different? Eh, where is she?" Instantly, Lucas's eyes searched for the woman he had made love to last night.

"What is this? Blood? Miranda is no longer a virgin, why is she bleeding? Oh shit! Did I make love to another woman? But ...!"

Lucas immediately got out of bed, put on his pants, and walked out. Lucas was looking for the person he wanted to know about, the woman who had made his hot night feel so different.

"Good morning, Mr. Lucas," greeted a man who was younger than Lucas.

"Why are you here so early in the morning?" Lucas looked at him in surprise.

"Wasn't it Mr. Lucas himself who sent a message yesterday saying he wanted to go to Miami with Miss Miranda and told me to come early?

"Miranda?" Lucas tried to remember something, as the effects of the drinks he had consumed the night before left him still somewhat groggy.

Soon, the person Lucas had been searching for emerged from the kitchen. The woman with neatly tied hair was walking with a plate of omelet she had just made in her hands.

Deg!

The woman's heart suddenly began to beat faster when Lucas's eyes stared at her intently. She knew that this was not the gaze of a man who was pleased with her services from the night before.

"Here's your omelet, Mr. Bayu." She placed the plate of omelet right in front of the man with the white glasses.

"Thank you, Kanaya. Hmm... it smells really good. Mr. Lucas, don't you want to have breakfast first? Kanaya made a special omelet for you, and I asked her to make one for me too because it looks delicious." The man immediately cut a piece and put it in his mouth. "Delicious, this is really delicious," he praised.

"Thank you, Mr. Bayu."

"Hey, you, go to my room now!" Lucas's command sounded firm.

"Yes, sir," Naya replied fearfully.

The man with glasses looked surprised. What did Naya do to make Mr. Lucas look upset with his own wife?

Naya walked towards the room where Lucas was waiting for her. When she entered the large room, Naya was startled when the door behind her suddenly closed with a loud bang.

"Mr. Lucas!" Naya turned around and saw the man she feared walking towards her.

Lucas's hand slowly traced Naya's face. Naya could only remain silent and let the man caress her face, even though she felt that it was not a gentle touch, but rather the touch of a killer who wanted to slowly toy with his victim, considering that Lucas was a mafia boss known for his cruelty.

"Ah... It hurts!" Naya groaned immediately when her chin was roughly grabbed by Lucas's large hand.

"Is that blood yours?" Lucas stared sharply and coldly.

"B-blood?" Naya suddenly remembered something. "Y-yes, I'll clean it up as soon as possible."

Lucas gripped Naya's chin even tighter while pushing her body until she fell onto his bed.

Lucas quickly pinned Naya beneath him. "Who gave you permission to sleep in my room last night? Did you deliberately take advantage of me while I was unconscious? Listen, you dirty, stupid woman! Don't ever dream that I will accept you as my wife because I am not interested in you at all. If killing you was something I could do, it would be very enjoyable," Lucas emphasized.

That night, the atmosphere in the mansion felt far quieter than usual. Kanaya stood on the bedroom balcony, staring at the dark, starless sky. A soft night breeze swept through, brushing against her loose hair. But the cold in the air was nothing compared to the coldness filling her heart. Everything had been revealed. The truth she had been waiting for had finally come. Yet strangely, it wasn’t only relief she felt. The pain was still there, even more vivid than before. The bedroom door slowly opened. Lucas stepped inside with cautious movements, as if afraid to disturb her. His eyes fell on Kanaya’s fragile back under the dim light. “I know you’re still awake,” he said softly. Kanaya didn’t turn right away. “I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel right now.” Lucas fell silent. “I was right all along,” Kanaya continued, her voice trembling. “I didn’t betray you, but you still drove me away, Lucas.” Every word felt like a blade cutting through her. “I lost everything back then,

Bayu walked casually into a quiet café. He only intended to grab a cup of coffee before returning to the mansion. However, his steps halted when his ears caught a very familiar name. “Come on, Gio. I’m just curious, where did you get that much money?” Bayu slightly turned toward the source of the voice. A man sat with his back to him, while a beautiful woman sat across from him, her expression full of curiosity. “Amanda, you don’t need to know everything,” the man replied casually. Bayu narrowed his eyes. That voice was familiar. He began listening more closely to their conversation. “I have the right to know!” the woman insisted. “You took me on a trip abroad, even threw that extravagant engagement party. That’s not something small, Gio!” The name made Bayu freeze. Gio? Could this be the same person who had once destroyed Lucas and Kanaya’s relationship? Bayu slowly moved closer and sat at a nearby table, pretending to be busy with his phone, though all his attention was on th

For the first time in a long while, the atmosphere in Lucas’s mansion felt warm. Kanaya sat on the sofa while her two children played on the floor, and Lucas watched them with a faint smile. Everything seemed peaceful. Hayden laughed as Hailey pretended to feed her doll, while Kanaya observed them with a sense of relief. “I’m happy to see you all like this,” Lucas said softly, his voice gentle yet firm. “Now, we can start building our lives again.” Kanaya gave a small smile as she looked at him. “I also… feel safe now. Thank you for explaining everything, Lucas.” Yet deep inside, guilt still lingered in her heart. Raymond was the one on her mind now, more precisely, what he must be going through after the wedding that had been suddenly destroyed. Not long after, the sound of a car slowing down came from outside the mansion. Kanaya turned her head, suddenly alert. She didn’t know why, but her heart felt uneasy. The front door opened, and a handsome man with a serious expression st

Lucas stood facing Raymond. The tension between the two men was palpable, and Kanaya, standing nearby, could only watch with growing concern at what Lucas might do. “Your marriage to Kanaya will not happen. If you proceed, someone will die here,” Lucas said, his eyes sharp and unyielding. The room immediately fell silent. Guests whispered nervously among themselves, some stepping back slowly, fearful that the situation could spiral out of control. Raymond’s lips curled into a faint, confident smile, though his jaw tightened. “Do you think I’ll back down just because of a cheap threat like that, Mr. Dinov?” Lucas took a step closer, exuding a cold aura that seemed to fill the entire room. “This isn’t a threat, Ray. It’s your final warning.” Kanaya clutched her gown tightly. Her heart pounded. She knew Lucas well—he never played around with his words. “Lucas, stop!” Kanaya’s voice finally broke the tension. “This isn’t the place for this.” Lucas turned to her, his gaze softening

The sound of knocking echoed loudly against the door, a clear sign that the person outside had run out of patience waiting for someone to answer. “Where are they? Why isn’t anyone opening the door?” Lucas stood anxiously in front of Kanaya’s house. He had tried calling Kanaya earlier, but she didn’t answer. Lucas was truly afraid of losing her again like before, but this time the fear was even greater because Kanaya was with their two children. “Kanaya, where are you? Raymond, that man must know where she is.” Lucas quickly dialed Raymond’s number. He waited anxiously for the call to be answered. “Hello, Raymond. Tell me, where is Kanaya? Don’t hide her from me. Do you even realize that she is my wife and the twins are my children?” “Of course I know, Mr. Dinov. But don’t you remember that your relationship with Lana ended a long time ago, when you threw her out and refused to acknowledge her anymore?” “Everything that happened back then was just a misunderstanding. Kanaya and

That morning in the office, Raymond approached Lana, who was busy working on the tasks Lucas had given her the day before. “Lana, I want to talk to you for a moment.” “Ray, what is it? I’m preparing documents for Mr. Lucas to bring before lunch. We’re going to a meeting at Mr. Dean’s company.” Lana spoke while her hands remained busy sorting through the papers in front of her. “You’re going out with Lucas again?” Raymond’s expression immediately darkened. “Yes, darling. I still have a meeting today.” “You should just quit this company, Lana.” Lana immediately stopped the movement of her hands as she sorted through the files. “What’s wrong?” Lana looked at him. Raymond slowly lifted his hand and gently stroked Lana’s cheek. “I get jealous seeing how close you are to Lucas.” “Ray, Lucas and I don’t have any relationship. This is all just work.” “Yes, but I’m still jealous.” Raymond’s hand continued to caress the cheek of the woman he loved so deeply. “Ray, tonight let’s have
