Naya got up from her sleeping position after Lucas told her to immediately change the bloodstained sheets. Naya quickly pulled the sheets off and put them in a medium-sized laundry basket.

"Ouch!" Naya suddenly stopped in her tracks when she felt pain in her groin again. She tried to catch her breath and walked back to the door so she could get out of there.

"Wait!" Lucas shouted loudly.

Naya's hand, which was already on the door handle, stopped, and she slowly turned to look at the man who was standing there staring at her with a completely cold gaze.

"What is it, sir?" Naya's voice sounded frightened as Lucas walked closer to her. Reflexively, Naya's feet moved backward until her back hit the door.

The cold face in front of Naya said nothing, but slowly Lucas's hand slipped into Naya's pajama pants.

"Sir, what are you doing?" Naya was completely confused by Lucas's hand inside her pajama pants.

A moan escaped Naya's lips. Lucas, hearing Naya's moan, smiled crookedly.

"Did you think my game last night was that great?" Lucas asked softly.

Naya tried to hold back the strange feeling she was experiencing. Not only was she enjoying Lucas's fingers playing with her private parts, but she was also enduring the pain that had not yet healed, and now it would surely increase because Lucas's fingers were slowly becoming rough.

"Sir, stop, stop," said Naya, trying to stop what Lucas was doing to her.

"Why? Don't you like my touch, you stupid woman?" Lucas played with his fingers even more roughly.

"Sir." Naya closed her eyes to endure the pain in her intimate area.

"Answer me!" Lucas snapped, his other hand gripping Naya's chin tightly.

Once again, Lucas hurt the woman he was supposed to treat with great care and respect as his wife.

"Stupid woman, answer me! Don't you like my game?" Lucas snapped again.

"If you do it well, I'll like it very much, especially since you're my husband," Naya replied haltingly, tears streaming down her face.

Lucas's eyes narrowed sharply at Naya's words. His hands slipped from her chin and chest. Naya breathed a sigh of relief as the man took two steps back from her.

"I'm not your husband, and don't think this marriage is something I wanted! To me, you're just trash that my grandmother picked up from a brothel! Now, get out of my room! Get out!" Lucas said angrily.

Naya now not only felt pain in her core, she also felt immense pain in her heart when Lucas said something that was very hurtful to her.

The woman left with a basket of dirty clothes in her hands and tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Good morning, you naughty child," a woman's voice sounded in the dining room.

The man who was enjoying his hot tea was startled and coughed when he saw who was standing in front of him.

"Grandma Louisa? Why are you here?" Bayu's face clearly showed his surprise.

"Well... why can't Grandma come here? This is my grandson's house, isn't it? Besides, my granddaughter-in-law is here, and I want to visit her." The woman's eyes scanned the empty dining room.

"Where's your boss? Is he still asleep?"

"Mr. Lucas is already awake, and we're both going to Miami, Grandma." Bayu took another sip of his hot tea.

"Miami? What for? Is there something that needs to be done there?" The old woman's eyes narrowed.

"Um... That..." Bayu seemed to have misspoken. He shouldn't have told Grandma that Mr. Lucas was going to Miami, especially if the beautiful old woman knew that Mr. Lucas was going there with his lover.

"Bayu, is Lucas going on business or with that cheap woman?" Grandma's voice was firm.

"Mr. Lucas is going with Miranda because Miranda wants to travel to Miami and she also has business there with a well-known brand."

"That cheap woman really can't be told. Lucas is married and Miranda must leave my grandson's life. Where is your boss now?"

Bayu knew that the beautiful grandmother must be very angry with his boss right now. Bayu actually also deeply regretted his boss's desire to go on vacation with his lover, even though his boss was already married.

"Grandmother?"

Naya was surprised to see Grandmother Louisa there. She quickly wiped away her tears because she didn't want the old woman she considered her savior to see her crying.

"Naya? Where are you from?" The old woman's eyes looked at the basket of dirty clothes that Naya was carrying.

"I just came from Mr. Lucas's room to pick up his dirty clothes, Grandma," said the woman nervously.

"CK! Sir? He's your husband, why are you calling him sir? Did Lucas tell you to call him sir?" The old woman's gaze immediately sharpened.

"No, Grandma, but I myself wanted to call him that because I married him as a way of repaying him for helping me." Naya lowered her gaze.

The old woman, who was called Louis, slowly pulled Naya's chin up with her index finger so that she could see what was wrong.

"What's wrong with your cheek? Is this the repayment you have to accept from Lucas too? That boy has to talk to me?" The old woman's hand clenched tightly.

"Grandma!" Naya knew that the old woman was angry because she immediately pushed Naya aside so she wouldn't block her way.

Naya looked confused and scared at the man named Bayu. Bayu just smiled at Naya and continued to enjoy the omelet Naya had made.

"Mr. Bayu, I'm afraid Grandma will be angry at Mr. Lucas. I didn't mean to make Mr. Lucas get Grandma angry," said Naya fearfully.

"Don't worry, Mr. Lucas needs shock therapy because it's been a long time since he's been scolded by his grandmother. Besides, you are his wife and he shouldn't be rude to women.

"But—?" Kanaya was confused about what to say.

"You should take a shower and eat. Don't worry, as long as Grandma is here, your life will be safe from that devil." One of the eyes behind the white glasses winked flirtatiously at Naya.

How could the man in front of her look so relaxed? Of course, Mr. Bayu could be so relaxed because he was the trusted associate of a man named Lucas, and Mr. Bayu had also been Lucas’s childhood friend. He was like part of the Dinov family.

Lana finally asked Raymond to talk privately because she didn't want Lucas to tell him about her past with Lucas. She wanted to tell him herself about her former life with Lucas. "Honey, are you going to have dinner with him?""Ray, I'm having dinner with Mr. Lucas, not on a date. We have an important meeting with a client, and as his secretary, I have to accompany him. You heard it yourself, right? Don't you trust me?""I trust you, Lana, but not Lucas." Ray glanced at Lucas, who was still standing there coldly. "Thank you, Ray." Raymond approached and hugged Lana affectionately. "When you're done, call me right away." Lana nodded and Raymond left. "Mr. Lucas, I'm going to change my clothes first.""Kanaya!"Lucas quickly pulled Lana's arm until she bumped into his chest. "Mr. Lucas, let go!""Do you love him?" Lucas stared intently. "You have no right to ask that." Lana's hand tried to push Lucas's body away. "Just answer, Kanaya."The two pairs of eyes stared at each othe

“Take your hands off me, Mr. Lucas. This is my house, and you should behave yourself.” Lana shot him a sharp glare.“I want to hate you so badly that sometimes I feel like stabbing my own heart for always thinking about you.”Something struck Kanaya’s heart when she heard that.Lucas slowly brushed his fingers along Lana’s cheek, then trailed them down her neck.“Don’t, Lucas… This is wrong. I don’t belong to you anymore,” Lana whimpered.“You have always belonged to me, Kanaya. Your body cannot lie,” Lucas replied softly. He did not accept rejection.“Mr. Lucas, please leave.” Lana tried to steady herself. She did not want to be swept away by a touch she had once longed for so desperately. With overwhelming dominance, Lucas captured Lana’s lips in a forceful kiss. At first she struggled, but the longing buried for five years and Lucas’s commanding presence weakened her resistance. That night, beneath the same roof where their children slept peacefully, Lana fell once more into the ar

Lana hurried forward, her hands trembling as she took Hailey from Lucas’s arms. “Come here, Hailey. Stay with Mama.”Lucas did not resist. He released Hailey gently, but his eyes never left the little girl. The room suddenly felt smaller. The smell of slightly burnt food drifted in from the kitchen, but no one cared.“Mr. Lucas, why are you here?” Lana asked, her voice shaking as she tried to steady her racing heart. “This is my day off. This is my house. You cannot just show up without telling me.”Lucas drew a long breath and slipped his hands into his pockets to hide his own trembling. He looked at Lana with an expression layered with explosive anger, deep regret, and painful love.“Five years, Kanaya.” His voice was low, heavy with pressure. “You hid them from me for five years and let them call another man father?”“Ma, is it Uncle Raymond who came?”Hayden suddenly appeared.Lucas’s eyes widened again when he saw the little boy who looked remarkably like him. In photographs the

Lana arrived at her house in Jakarta feeling deeply uneasy. She kept hugging Hayden and Hailey, as if she were terrified of Lucas’s presence now that he knew about the twins.“Mama, why are you crying?” Hailey asked, wiping Lana’s cheek with her tiny hand.“Mama just misses you,” Lana lied. That night, Lana could not sleep. She did not know that a luxurious black car was parked several meters from her front gate. Inside, Lucas sat in the darkness, staring at the small yet cozy house with a storm raging in his chest. Why do I feel like Lana is hiding something from me?Lucas took out his phone and called someone.“Bayu, where are you?”“Still in San Francisco. What is it, Sir?”“Isn’t your business with that bastard finished yet?”“He managed to escape, but everything he stole from you has been secured, Mr. Lucas. I guarantee he will be found soon.”“Damn it. Once he is found, send him to me. I will finish it myself. It would be satisfying to torture him until he begs to die.” A cold s

Lana walked out elegantly. Lucas, who had been deliberately waiting in front of her bedroom door, looked mesmerized by the appearance of his ex-wife.It was unexpected. Kanaya was still breathtakingly beautiful even after all these years apart. The only difference was that she used to look gentle. Now she looked firmer, and there was no longer the softness in her eyes like when she used to look at Lucas.“Let’s go now, Mr. Lucas,” Kanaya said, her gaze firm, chin slightly raised.Lucas slowly walked closer with a small, cold smile.“You really look different from the Kanaya I used to know. But your beauty is still the same.”Lana’s eyes instantly shifted to Lucas’s face, which was now very close to hers.“Watch your words, Mr. Lucas. We should leave now and finish this business matter. After that, I want to go home immediately.”“Oh? You miss your lover that much, Lana?”“Let’s just go now.”The sharp clicks of Lana’s high heels echoed as she walked ahead, leaving Lucas behind with a
