Brak!

A gun was suddenly pointed at the old woman standing in front of the door. Without fear, the old woman walked closer and even smiled slightly.

"Is this how you greet your grandmother, Lucas?"

The man named Lucas slowly lowered his gun and holstered it behind his suit. Lucas smoothed out his black suit.

"Grandma, why did you come like that? Are you angry at me after getting that report from that trashy woman?" Lucas spoke without looking at the old woman, who was now trying to control her emotions.

"Trash? At least she can maintain her dignity compared to the women you consider respectable, dear." The old woman's hand rose and smoothed her grandson's shirt collar.

"To me, she's still trash that Grandma picked up at a brothel." Lucas stared coldly.

Grandma Louisa smiled sweetly in response to her beloved grandson's words. "She's not a prostitute even though I met her there, isn't that right? You proved it yourself."

Lucas's face immediately turned cold upon hearing what the old woman in front of him said. He understood what his grandmother meant, but how did she know? Naya wouldn't be so vulgar as to say that she and Lucas had just spent their first night together.

"Honey, Grandma will wait in the dining room. There's something you have to do." The old woman kissed her grandson's cheek softly, then walked elegantly out of Lucas's room.

"Damn! Did that trashy woman say something to my grandmother? But even if that trashy woman was still a virgin when she served me, I still wouldn't consider her my wife. I'll find a time to get rid of her from my life."

At the dining table, the three of them seemed to be enjoying their breakfast. Naya's omelet was very popular with Grandma and Mr. Bayu.

Lucas, who had just entered the dining room, made the previously warm atmosphere turn cold and scary when Naya accidentally caught her husband's annoyed expression.

Lucas was truly a person who had no sweetness in him at all.

"Mr. Lucas, what would you like to eat? Let me prepare it for you?" Naya, who had already gotten up from her seat, immediately asked with a frightened look on her face.

"No need! Bayu, we're leaving now. Have you prepared everything?" Lucas asked the man who was his right-hand man in a cold voice.

Bayu glanced at the grandmother who was looking at Lucas. "Is everything ready? But I can't contact Miranda."

Lucas hadn't told Bayu that he wouldn't be going with the woman he had caught last night having sex with his own cousin in the apartment he had bought for his lover.

Lucas also didn't want to cancel his trip to Miami because he didn't want to be in the same house as the woman who was his wife.

"Let's go now, Bay."

"Take your wife with you, dear," said Grandma Louisa firmly.

"What?" Naya's eyes widened.

Lucas suddenly stopped in his tracks. Lucas took a deep breath. He knew what would happen next.

"Grandma, I don't need to go with Mr. Lucas. I'll stay here and take care of the housework," said Naya nervously.

Of course, Naya was very shocked and worried. She was worried that if she went with her devilish husband, she might not come back alive.

"You're the one who needs to go, Nay, instead of that woman named Miranda. You are Lucas's wife and you have more right to be by your husband's side."

Lucas turned around and walked towards his grandmother. The look in his eyes seemed to imply that he was very angry with the old woman in front of him at that moment.

"Honey, take your wife shopping and enjoy your vacation there. It's been a month since you got married, and you and your wife haven't had your honeymoon yet. Grandma is here, and let me take care of everything here." The old woman's hand gently caressed her grandson's cheek.

"I won't take that trash woman with me, Grandma," Lucas said softly and firmly.

"Grandma wants Naya to go with you, and if I hear that Naya is hurt or that you are trying to get rid of her, then say goodbye to your grandmother too," said the old woman softly.

"Are you threatening me, Grandma?" Lucas stared coldly.

"It's not a threat, but it's what I will do. At least Grandma will be happy to meet your grandfather there." Grandma Louisa's hand smoothed the top three buttons of Lucas's open shirt.

Lucas was silent, but his jaws were clenched tightly as if holding back anger.

Bayu, who saw this, could only hold back his smile. Only Grandma Louisa could subdue her boss.

"Naya, go with your husband. Here is your passport, which I made for you because my purpose in coming here was also to give this to you. Have fun and don't worry about preparing anything. Lucas will take you shopping and buy everything you need."

"But, Grandma."

"Hurry up and go!" Lucas said firmly.

Before Naya could finish speaking, Lucas cut her off. Still confused, Naya quickly said goodbye to Grandma Louisa and immediately ran to catch up with Lucas, who was already in his car.

The old woman smiled happily as she watched from the window as Lucas's car drove out of her grandson's large mansion.

In the car, Lucas chose to remain silent, his expression naturally frightening Naya. Naya preferred to look out the window rather than at her husband's scary face.

When they arrived at his private jet, Lucas immediately got in, followed by Naya, who was amazed to see a private jet for the first time and even more amazed that she would be inside it.

"If your husband loved you, Naya, your life would be very happy," said Mr Bayu, who was walking behind Naya.

"Even if he didn't have all this, if he loved me, I would also be very happy, Mr Bayu," replied Naya.

Bayu only responded with a slight smile as he adjusted his glasses.

Naya was directed to sit alone near the window. Meanwhile, Lucas chose to sit with Bayu in another seat located right in front of Naya's seat.

"I'm scared," Naya whispered, and only she could hear her words.

This was Naya's first time on a plane and she was really scared, but she didn't dare say it, especially since there was something even more frightening inside the jet.

Naya sat nervously because the plane was about to take off and Naya was really scared of that.

"What should I do?" Naya said to herself in confusion. She tried to look at the other seats, which appeared to be empty.

Naya, who was already panicking, immediately got up from her seat and moved to the front, where her husband was. Naya sat right next to Lucas and quickly grabbed his hand.

"I'm scared," she said, her voice sounding bitter and sad.

Lana finally asked Raymond to talk privately because she didn't want Lucas to tell him about her past with Lucas. She wanted to tell him herself about her former life with Lucas. "Honey, are you going to have dinner with him?""Ray, I'm having dinner with Mr. Lucas, not on a date. We have an important meeting with a client, and as his secretary, I have to accompany him. You heard it yourself, right? Don't you trust me?""I trust you, Lana, but not Lucas." Ray glanced at Lucas, who was still standing there coldly. "Thank you, Ray." Raymond approached and hugged Lana affectionately. "When you're done, call me right away." Lana nodded and Raymond left. "Mr. Lucas, I'm going to change my clothes first.""Kanaya!"Lucas quickly pulled Lana's arm until she bumped into his chest. "Mr. Lucas, let go!""Do you love him?" Lucas stared intently. "You have no right to ask that." Lana's hand tried to push Lucas's body away. "Just answer, Kanaya."The two pairs of eyes stared at each othe

“Take your hands off me, Mr. Lucas. This is my house, and you should behave yourself.” Lana shot him a sharp glare.“I want to hate you so badly that sometimes I feel like stabbing my own heart for always thinking about you.”Something struck Kanaya’s heart when she heard that.Lucas slowly brushed his fingers along Lana’s cheek, then trailed them down her neck.“Don’t, Lucas… This is wrong. I don’t belong to you anymore,” Lana whimpered.“You have always belonged to me, Kanaya. Your body cannot lie,” Lucas replied softly. He did not accept rejection.“Mr. Lucas, please leave.” Lana tried to steady herself. She did not want to be swept away by a touch she had once longed for so desperately. With overwhelming dominance, Lucas captured Lana’s lips in a forceful kiss. At first she struggled, but the longing buried for five years and Lucas’s commanding presence weakened her resistance. That night, beneath the same roof where their children slept peacefully, Lana fell once more into the ar

Lana hurried forward, her hands trembling as she took Hailey from Lucas’s arms. “Come here, Hailey. Stay with Mama.”Lucas did not resist. He released Hailey gently, but his eyes never left the little girl. The room suddenly felt smaller. The smell of slightly burnt food drifted in from the kitchen, but no one cared.“Mr. Lucas, why are you here?” Lana asked, her voice shaking as she tried to steady her racing heart. “This is my day off. This is my house. You cannot just show up without telling me.”Lucas drew a long breath and slipped his hands into his pockets to hide his own trembling. He looked at Lana with an expression layered with explosive anger, deep regret, and painful love.“Five years, Kanaya.” His voice was low, heavy with pressure. “You hid them from me for five years and let them call another man father?”“Ma, is it Uncle Raymond who came?”Hayden suddenly appeared.Lucas’s eyes widened again when he saw the little boy who looked remarkably like him. Lana arrived at her house in Jakarta feeling deeply uneasy. She kept hugging Hayden and Hailey, as if she were terrified of Lucas’s presence now that he knew about the twins.“Mama, why are you crying?” Hailey asked, wiping Lana’s cheek with her tiny hand.“Mama just misses you,” Lana lied. That night, Lana could not sleep. She did not know that a luxurious black car was parked several meters from her front gate. Inside, Lucas sat in the darkness, staring at the small yet cozy house with a storm raging in his chest. Why do I feel like Lana is hiding something from me?Lucas took out his phone and called someone.“Bayu, where are you?”“Still in San Francisco. What is it, Sir?”“Isn’t your business with that bastard finished yet?”“He managed to escape, but everything he stole from you has been secured, Mr. Lucas. I guarantee he will be found soon.”“Damn it. Once he is found, send him to me. I will finish it myself. It would be satisfying to torture him until he begs to die.” A cold s

Lana walked out elegantly. Lucas, who had been deliberately waiting in front of her bedroom door, looked mesmerized by the appearance of his ex-wife.It was unexpected. Kanaya was still breathtakingly beautiful even after all these years apart. The only difference was that she used to look gentle. Now she looked firmer, and there was no longer the softness in her eyes like when she used to look at Lucas.“Let’s go now, Mr. Lucas,” Kanaya said, her gaze firm, chin slightly raised.Lucas slowly walked closer with a small, cold smile.“You really look different from the Kanaya I used to know. But your beauty is still the same.”Lana’s eyes instantly shifted to Lucas’s face, which was now very close to hers.“Watch your words, Mr. Lucas. We should leave now and finish this business matter. After that, I want to go home immediately.”“Oh? You miss your lover that much, Lana?”“Let’s just go now.”The sharp clicks of Lana’s high heels echoed as she walked ahead, leaving Lucas behind with a
