Four Quadro Alas

It had been a week since Samantha became Lexus' slave, and unfortunately, his grumpy demeanor hadn’t changed. Every day, it's the same routine for her of following his orders, which only serve to irritate her further.

On a brighter note, Samantha had made a friend in the mansion named Eva. She was around the same age as her, and they bonded over shared experiences. Samantha has confided in Eva about how she met Lexus and the circumstances that led to them being together.

Initially, Eva thought Samantha was just another maid in the household. It puzzled her why Samantha always ate with Lexus, given that she primarily existed to fulfill his commands. But the truth was, Samantha had no choice but to follow his every order. Beyond that, there was no real connection between them.

Lexus was a successful CEO of a prominent company, which explains his extravagant spending habits. He has accumulated wealth through his efforts, achieving great success at a young age. As Eva informed Samantha, his parents reside in a different country.

In that environment, Samantha found herself inadvertently becoming a part of the gossip mill as she absorbs information and stories from those around her.

Samantha was currently standing in front of the school, just as the contract stipulates. Today was her first day of school in Grade 12, but she found herself still outside the gate, hesitant to enter.

"Miss?" Samantha heard someone call out to her, prompting her to turn towards the voice. It was a guy wearing a school uniform and sunglasses. Samantha assumed he was a fellow student at this school.

Curiously, Samantha asked, "Yes? What is it?"

"I've noticed you standing here for a while. Aren't you planning to go inside?" he inquired.

Feeling a bit shy, Samantha admitted, "Actually, I'm new here."

"I see. I happen to be the president of the student council. I can assist you," he offered.

"That would be great. I still need to pick up my schedule," she responded, appreciating his willingness to help.

"Allow me to accompany you to the administrative office then," he suggested. Without hesitation, Samantha accepted his offer, considering her unfamiliarity with the school's layout.

Together, they proceeded toward the administrative office. As they entered, the woman behind the counter addressed the guy, saying, "Oh, Mr. Zapanta, what can I do for you?"

"Um, Miss, the new student here needs to pick up her schedule," he requested on Samantha’s behalf.

"Samantha Gonzalez," Samantha added, stating her full name for clarification.

"Ah, I've been expecting you. Here's your schedule," she said, handing Samantha the paper.

"Thank you, Miss Gavia," the guy expressed his gratitude to the girl. She simply nodded and smiled before they took their leave.

"So your name is Samantha," he remarked, seeking confirmation. She shyly nodded, feeling a bit self-conscious.

"By the way, I'm Theron Zapanta," he introduced himself, extending his hand for a handshake. Samantha reciprocated, shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Theron," Samantha replied, attempting to sound slightly flirtatious.

"Which section are you in?" he inquired, showing genuine interest. Samantha glanced at the paper in her hand.

"I'm assigned to Section Capricorn," Samantha informed him.

"Wow, really?" he exclaimed, seemingly pleased. Samantha could only nod in response.

"Perfect, that's my section too. Let's go together," he offered once again. His continued kindness only embarrassed Samantha, but she appreciated his gesture.

Again, Samantha simply nodded in response, feeling a bit overwhelmed since she was new to the school and unfamiliar with its whereabouts.

As they continued walking, the noise from the surrounding students suddenly intensified. It seemed like something was causing a commotion, prompting both Theron and her to stop.

"Oh my god, I just saw them!"

"Wow, our king Lex is looking even more handsome today."

"Wahh, Sean is so good-looking!"

"I love you, Kitt!!!"

"Where's Prince? He's missing."

The students' screams and cheers were becoming increasingly loud, causing discomfort to Samantha’s ears.

Curious about the source of the commotion, Samantha turned to Theron and asked, "Who are they?"

However, their faces were obscured by the overwhelming cheers, making it difficult for Samantha to see clearly.

"Them? They are the Quadro Alas of the school," Theron began to explain, sensing her curiosity.

Samantha nodded, expecting him to provide more details.

"Sean is the smartest among the four, excelling in computers. He's always serious about everything," Theron continued, shedding light on one of the individuals.

"On the other hand, Kit is the most rebellious and mischievous among the four. He's also quite popular with the ladies."

"It seems like you know a lot about them," Samantha asked Theron, intrigued by his knowledge. He simply smiled and continued speaking.

"The highest-ranking member among the four is King Lex. He holds the largest shares in the school and comes from a wealthy background. The students probably fear him due to his strong and sometimes intimidating demeanor," Theron chuckled as he shared the story.

Despite the commotion growing closer to them, Samantha still couldn't catch a glimpse of their faces. Turning to Theron, she realized he hadn't mentioned anything about the fourth member, the prince.

Curiosity getting the better of me, I inquired, "Who is the other member?" Slowly, Theron removed his shades.

To Samantha’s surprise, his blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight, revealing the answer to her question.

"The fourth member is Prince Theron Zapanta himself, the President of the student council. He's known for his charm and ambition," Theron revealed. Samantha was taken aback. So, all this time, she had been conversing with the prince without even realizing it.

"Theron!" a familiar voice called out.

"Hey, King Lex, long time no see," Theron greeted the person. Samantha turned to see who it was, and her jaw dropped in disbelief. It was Lexus Del Fierro, the reigning king of the school... was her boss!

"Why didn't you join us?" Boss Lexus questioned Theron, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity.

"Hahaha, I was waiting for you at our hangout, but I noticed a lady who needed some help," Theron joked, casting a quick glance at Samantha, which caught Lexus's attention, making him raise an eyebrow.

"Haha, you're quite the charmer, Theron." Boss Lexus laughed.

Wait, is he pretending not to know her?

"By the way, Samantha is also joining us on our way to our section. She's our new classmate," Theron introduced her, and she couldn't help but smile.

"Cool name," remarked a guy standing beside Lexus, exuding a supermodel-like aura with his impeccable style.

"Tss, Samantha seems to be new! Kit, you're such a flirt. Let's go!" Lexus exclaimed, sounding slightly annoyed.

Did Samantha just meet her boss's group of friends? Was he purposely pretending not to know her? As they continued walking down the hallway, Samantha pondered over those thoughts.

"Lexus," a girl called out to him from up ahead.

"Shit, Kate!" Lexus called back, and they embraced each other warmly.

"When did you come back to the Philippines?" Lexus asked with joy, still holding onto the embrace.

"Yeah, Kate, we should have picked you up," Kit chimed in, wearing a smile.

"I wanted to surprise you guys, hahaha," Kate laughed, breaking free from the embrace.

"Wow, you look even more beautiful," Theron complimented her.

"Kate has always been beautiful," Lexus interjected.

"You guys are such flatterers!" the girl laughed. Samantha couldn't help but be captivated by Kate's beauty; she resembled a television actress, a true goddess. Her allure was magnetic, exuding a gentle and enchanting aura.

As Samantha glanced at Lexus, she noticed his wide smile. It was the first time she had seen him like that as if his smile could light up the entire room.

"Can I join you guys?" Kate asked, and Lexus replied, "Sure, why not?"

And they continued walking together toward their room. Theron and Samantha trailed behind while Lexus and Kate took the lead, engaging in playful banter.

"Theron, who is she?" Samantha whispered, feeling increasingly curious. Her boss wore a constant, wide smile.

"Oh, she's Kate Buenaventura, the school's Queen Bee and the object of the King of the School's first crush," Theron explained.

Damn, that explained why her boss was smiling so much. This school was starting to feel like a whirlwind of unexpected encounters and revelations, and it was driving Samantha a bit crazy.
