22 years old Nina smiled as she stepped out of the car, her eyes fixed on her phone which she operated with ecstasy. 

She loved the comments she was seeing online; the comments of the envious girls talking about her latest car. Oh! They could diss all they want. She enjoyed seeing people talk about her. It only made her seem more unique and powerful. 

Her smile broadened as she walked into the house and a maid collected her bag right there at the door. 

"Hey! Watch it!" She snapped when a maid had almost bumped into her. 

"I'm so sorry, ma'am. I'm so sorry" the maid apologized immediately, her head bowed.  

"Of course! You should be" she scoffed and walked towards the stairs. 

"Is my father home?" She asked another maid she had seen. 

"Not yet, ma'am" the maid answered with a bow like the rest and Nina grunted and took the stairs. 

Could her father ever change? She hasn't seen him in days!

Well, perhaps that was the price she had to pay for being the only daughter of a multi - billionaire. 

She got into her room and fell on the bed immediately, smiling into her phone. 

Oh! Even Salome was jealous. She could feel it!!

She giggled and turned on the bed. Perfect, she was being exactly who she wanted to be - a princess!

After having enough view, she left the bed and decided to go into the bathroom for a shower. 

She hummed and sang in ecstasy and when she was done, she came out with her towel and head wrapped. 

Her phone was ringing on the bed and she hurried to check it out. 

Oh! Leo.  

She smirked to myself as she picked it up. 

"Yes?" she rolled her eyes, letting the pride reflect in her voice. 

"Hey, Nina. What's up?" He asked warmly. 

"I don't think my welfare should concern you, Leo. Why're you calling, anyway?"

"Hey, hey. Chill okay? Are we enemies?" He chuckled. 

"That depends on you, Leo. But either ways, I don't think I care. What do you want?" she rolled her eyes again, like he could see her. 

"Fine. Can we just see and talk this over - please?" He asked and she felt her cheeks become hot. 

Oh my!! Leo was asking her out!

"I don't think I want Salome to eat me up" she said sarcastically. 

"Come on, Nina. There's nothing going on between Salome and I - please. I thought I've told you this before?"

She smiled to myself and didn't say a word. 

"Can we see now? Like... would it be possible?" He asked and she could sense the desperation in his voice.

It made her cheeks flush more. 

She hesitated a little. 

"Well..." she looked at her watchless wrist. 

"I don't think I have anything to do at the moment. So, maybe... Yeah". 

"Oh! Thank you so much, Nina. City Beauty - one hour time. I'll be waiting". 

"Yeah" she mumbled and ended the call and immediately,  giggled hard and fell on the bed.

Oh my gee!! Yes! It's working. I'm taking over!!

She laughed and rolled from side to side on the bed, imagining her future. Suddenly, there was a gunshot. 

She paused. 

"Argh!!!" She heard screams in the house and jumped out of the bed immediately. 

What?? What's going on?? What's happening??

Her heart left her chest. Was there an attack?!

No; it's not even possible. It shouldn't be possible. Her father made sure they were high securities around. So, it shouldn't be possible. 

She panicked. What does she do?

The gunshots continued and she reached for her phone immediately and tried calling the police. But just then, her door went open and two strange guys showed up with guns. 

"Argh!!!" She let out a high pitched scream as her phone fell from her hands. 

She turned around and ran towards the bathroom, but one of the boys ran after her from behind and caught up with her.

"No!! Let me go!! Let me go!!" She screamed in fright, struggling indefatigably. 

"Calm down, Miss. Jericho has been waiting for this moment for a long time now" the boy behind her sniggered as he put a white napkin over her nose. And instantly, she passed out.
