William has tried his possible best to get the location or the IP address of whoever sent the burner phone with Elijah’s murder video to him but he hasn't gotten anything yet.

He needed to focus on finding his illegitimate bastards, however he also has to make sure that the video doesn't get out to the press.

Mr William had informed Kol about the threat he received the previous night earlier that morning while handing over the burner phone to him, so he could check if there was any information they could retrieve from the phone.

As Mr William was getting ready, Kol came to his motel room after making arrangements of the car and every information that needed to be reported to his boss.
