Quietly sitting on the back seat like an obedient child, she looked out of the window. Zeke sat beside her as he quietly observed her nervous and scared state.Obviously, he was aware that she was scared of him, but that didn't trouble his heart. He was okay with his wife fearing him. Soon enough they reached the house as Danica got out of the car and walked behind Zeke as she silently followed him inside. She was scared of him. Very much scared.She has seen his angry, worst side so she never tried to speak back with him, although she never really did that with anyone. He was extremely closed off and distant. Not only from her but from everyone.Yes, he had couple of men that were extremely loyal to him but he was always alerted even with those who had spent years with him. They both shared a room and as she steps in giving her the rights of being his wife. He surely did treat her slightly special and different than he treated the others but only after he actually got to know her.

Zeke sat in his office as his phone rang. Mrs. Tan- The screen showed. His most trusted maid as he picked up the call."Good evening Mr. Zeke, Mrs. Lee has not eaten anything from the whole day.. So I though she was waiting for you, will you be back home late?" she spoke making Zeke sigh."I’ll be home shortly." He answered, ending the call as he clenched his jaw in anger.Quickly getting up he walked out of his company and to his car as the driver quickly started driving to home. DANICA POVThe door opened. I opened my eyes and saw Zeke standing there. I got up from the bed and stood straight, ready to listen to him. He looked really angry. I was scared."Why didn't you eat anything the whole day?" He asked me with his calm tone but anger was clearly visible in his eyes.“I’m asking you something, Danica." He spoke again, gritting his teeth together when I didn't reply to him, making me shiver since there was warning in his voice.

"Let's go," He said as Danica stood there looking down.Walking outside the door, Danica silently followed Zeke behind as everyone gazed at Zeke. His aura spat his name as he passed by everyone. Not only the fear that people had for him but also the respect that made people bow in front of Zeke.The car door was opened by their driver as Zeke sat inside, followed by Danica who was wearing a blue dress and had her legs shut closed tightly. The driver started the car as he drove to the party venue."Don't move away from my eyes if l walk away from you, okay?" Zeke said firmly, looking at her with face showing nothing but seriousness.Danica shivered hearing his voice, "Okay." She replied him softly as he faced the front again, keeping a still face.Yet he was nervous inside. Bringing her to his mafia parties have always been hard for him but he needed to do that. Opening the car door Zeke walked inside the Mansion as he held Danica's hand dragging her behind. Such a struggle it was for the poor girl to keep up with his pace in her heels. It could clearly be seen by anyone. He locked the door behind as he let go off her hand yanking her forcefully in front of him."Why did you leave the party?" he asked her as she looked up at his face as her mouth parted desiring to speak something or anything but only nothing came out.What could she tell him? Zeke squinted his eyes open as he heard some sobs and yells. He looked at his side to see Danica trembling as she continuously said -No and sobbed along. He was worried. He remembered the time she used to have nightmares. Was those coming back to her?“Oh no..” he mumbled.Turning to the other side he slightly shook her body, “D-Danica.” But there was no reply as he shook her a little harder. “Get up. You’re just having a nightmare,” he frowned as he heard her sob more loudly this time. “Wife, get up.” Zeke yanked her body making her to open her eyes. Danica looked at him with her confused red eyes. Her mouth parted as if she wanted to say something making him look at her with his whole attention. “l a-am s-sorry. I didn’t meant to wake you up. What it is..” Zeke straightened his brows after he heard her. He sighed softly falling back on his side. “That’s fine.” He wiggled on the bed trying to find a comfortable position again as Danica nodded before facing the wall

“You called me, Zeke…?” Danica entered the room as she stood attentively in front to him. Zeke was working on his office desk.He looked up at her, eyes showing no signs of hardness as he sighed softly relaxing himself.“Yes. D-Did you have your lunch?” He questioned, eye penetrating through her as he observed her actions carefully not to creep her out.“Yes.” She answered looking at him as she knew he didn’t like it when she didn’t reply to him while looking at him.“Good girl.” He praised before opening his mouth to speak again, “Do you still feel weak?”Danica shook her head in response as he nodded in response.“You can now go.” Zeke said.
