Sebastian sighed hard. “Tell me again, why this is a good idea?”

They were walking side by side on the thin snow ten steps behind Deandra. She walked cheerfully with a bird hanging upon her forefinger and a reindeer walking beside her. It seemed like the bird amused them with its story.

“Again, I said I’ll risk it. Taking her with us today.” Julian answered.

“My… My… During my absent… Don’t tell me that people in the castle was telling the truth about you.”

“What did they tell you?”

“That you like her company?”

“Ignore them! Look at her unique ability! Also, maybe we’re going closer to solve the mystery.”

“I think she is scary.” Said Sebastian firmly.

Julian’s head made sudden turn to show his bewildered look to Sebastian. “You should have a good valid reason for saying that. Let’s talk about that later.” Julian ended the conversation since they have arrived.
