Center Isle few moments before, the dusk sun colored the evening sky in contrast with the color of snow that covered the ground evenly.
Hurried foot step touched onto the hard-stoned floor in a desolate alley inside the castle. Lucas held Irina’s hand tightly as he led the way back to the passage room. As the night would come, dark creature’s sense of awareness increased and sharpened. They could certainly sense the present of uninvited three witches within the castle. Each of them rode a horse instead of taking a carriage. Since it would broaden their night view and also easier for them to detect the presence of uninvited dark creature. Irina walked amongst the standing shelves at Lucas’s personal library in his bedroom. The bedroom was much bigger than the house where her father and she used to live, well she used to stay in Nieal’s mansion but this was a castle, she would probably get lost in the way if she had to find it by herself. Dawn passed and replaced by weak shine from the morning sun. Irina looked outside through the tall glass window, it was snow everywhere. The temperature outside was on the opposite of inside temperature, perhaps it was because her mother was in the castle, she guessed on why she felt the warm atmosphere unlike when she was at the cottage with Lucas and the others. By the time they reached the cottage, it was already morning. Sore was all over their body and couldn’t wait to lie down. They were welcomed by the Cook with hot beverages, once they were inside the cottage’s grand foyer. “Welcome back.” Said the Cook while handing the beverage to each of them. The group proceeded to the living room as he added. “King Armand and his staffs are here.” “Where are they?” Asked Julian. “They are resting upstairs on the third floor, Your Highness. The king and the advisor are in a poor condition. A healer already treated them.” Julian, Sebastian, and Hilda nodded at the same time.
