“This thing, this unnecessary burden you are carrying on your shoulders. I admit that you have sexy broad shoulders that seem capable of anything but the last thing you should let them take on is a burden that’s useless.” She intoned almost harshly and not just me, but my wolf also winced along with me.

“Useless?” Is that how she sees it? And couldn’t she have phrased that more gently? Why make it seem as if I’m having an unnecessary pity party?

“Yes, useless. Don’t get me wrong, I understand your feelings, I sure do. I know it’s possible to feel guilty over the past, because yea, I have been there, done it all but at the end of the day, I sat myself down and I asked myself if it’s worth it. Do I want to keep wallowing in the past, wallowing in guilt or do I want to move forward and be a better version of myself? So I ask you, Christos Fernandez, do you want to continue w
