“Don’t try to be cute, Lightning. I am a woman that is after answers and I mean to get it.” She warned softly and I felt my wolf releasing a little sigh of disappointment as he sat to listen.

‘Good! At least he can’t continue to think he is the special baby here, her favourite. No way man, if I suffer, he suffers!’ I muttered to myself with relish and I heard a long hiss that showed he knew what I was thinking. But who cares? As long as he isn’t trying to take my place in my woman’s heart, I am good.
