**LIA**As I emerged from my room, the tension in the air was suffocating. All I could think about was grabbing a beer to numb the stress pulsating through my veins. Striding purposefully to the kitchen, I swung open the fridge door, hoping for a glimmer of relief. **LIA**As promised, Drex did his part as a dad to Angel, he'd help me feed her while I get ready for school, he makes sure she's tucked in before I get back home maybe when I have a late night class that day or I meet them playing if i get home early.
