Chapter 2 - His Father's Condition

Damien was sitting in his office while doing some file work when his phone rang and he saw his mom's name flashing on the screen he quickly answered the call.

"Good morning mom, what's the matter" Damien spoke as he answered the phone.

"Morning dear, i called to tell you that your father's condition has deteriorated greatly and it has gotten worse than it was before, I'm afraid damien i don't know if he will make it to the ending of this year." Damien's mom said as she broke down crying after saying this.

"Mom please stop crying, you know it also hurts me seeing you cry like that, mom don't worry okay? I'm sure dad will not die anytime from now, he has the best medical care and i know that dad is a very strong man so please don't cry too much okay" Damien said while trying to comfort his mom.

"Okay I'll stop crying, thanks dear for the encouragement" Damien's mom said while sniffling.

"No problem mom anytime, you know i love you" Damien said while smiling.

"Yes dear and you know how much I and your father loves you too"

"yes mom"

"By the way your father said that he wanted to see you. He said he had something important to discuss with you."

"Okay I'll be there right away" with that damien hung up, not wanting to waste anymore time and stood up while grabbing his coat and walked towards his door heading to the hospital which his father was at.

Damien walked into the hospital building not bodering to meet the receptionist and headed straight to his father's ward.

The receptionist wanted to stop him and ask who he was and who he was looking for, but immediately she saw his face she quickly shut her mouth up because she remembered his face and also she had seen him with their head boss before and she knows the relationship between them that they are father and son so she got back to what she was doing knowing fully well that she couldn't stop him because technically he was also the owner of the hospital.
