“You’re weak!” McKenzie argues as she dusts off the grand piano. “You two kissed, he admitted to you he’s a little obsessed with sex, and you freaked out and left?”
“Yes! McKenzie!” I argue while I try scrubbing the toilet in this tiny spare bathroom. “We kissed and I left him. And he admitted to me about the sex thing before we kissed. Why does it matter?”
Her scoff echoes through the living room. “When’s the last time you had a dick in you?”
“I don’t know!” I yell back and set the scrub brush on the floor. “I’m not too concerned with it. I’m not a horny freak like you are!”
“Like me?” She argues back. “Girl! I have a one-night stand once in a great while! I am not a horny freak! I’m just saying, get yourself some dick!”
As I push myself off the floor, I feel this small rush of excitement inside of me. This bathroom in this mansion is only a small reminder of how big Devin's house is and how big his want for me also is and it’s bringing back memories of the other night and that damn kiss. I don’t want McKenzie to know she is right, but I need to get laid, horribly bad.
As I step into the living room, the beautiful bright sun shines down on me from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Looking out and onto the back terrace, I see another beautiful ocean view.
“I don’t need dick,” I say, stepping toward her and carrying the bathroom cleaning bucket. “And why does every rich person have to have a waterfront home? Oh, and by the way, I’m done cleaning the bathroom. It’s time to move on to the next house.”
“I’m not done.” She argues, wiping down the end table. “I still have the rest of the living room to dust. This needs to be done right or else we lose a client.”
I look around the stupidly large living room with wide eyes. If she has to dust every single thing in here, she has a long time to go.
“I can assure you; you won’t lose a client.” A man’s voice calls out from behind me. “You ladies are too beautiful.”
My heart drops as I realize our client just listened to us bitch and complain. Is he going to fire us? I don’t know this man and he doesn’t know us. He might of just called us beautiful but that doesn’t mean a damn thing.
I spin around to a blonde-haired, dark, brown-eyed man. He’s wearing what looks like an expensive dress suit. It’s dark purple and honestly, it suits him.
“Don’t freak, ladies.” He says, walking toward us as he forces a smile and removes his creepy stare. “My name is John Myles. I simply forgot my watch. I drove across town and spun around just to come back and get it.”
“Why would you do that for a watch?” McKenzie argues, opening her big mouth.
“Because…McKenzie. I own my company. I can do whatever it is I feel like doing.”
“Fair!” I say, interrupting their conversation and praying McKenzie doesn’t get us fired. “If you own your company, you have free reign all the time. Right, McKenzie!”
“You’re correct…” He says, pauses and slowly shakes his finger at me. “You must be Cassie. Don’t worry, I check in on every person that steps into my house. You can never be too certain nowadays.”
“Yes,” I say, agreeing with him, while trying to cut the conversation short. This guy kind of gives me the creeps. He is not a bad-looking guy, but his creepy smile throws it off. His weird gaze bothers me and something in my stomach just tells me ‘no’.
He steps down a couple of steps leading from the hallway to the living room, his hand in his pocket the entire time and his moussed hair frozen in place.
“Pardon me for being intrusive, Cassie.” He announces while his creepy smile still radiates off him. “But you’re single, correct?”
“She’s complicated.” McKenzie quickly says, saving me from this awkward moment.
John turns his attention to McKenzie, hand still in his pocket and raising an eyebrow in confusion. “So, that means there is availability?”
“No, John!” McKenzie argues and scoffs. “She kind of has someone. Speaking of which, don’t you have to get to that appointment, Cassie?”
Looking over at the clock, I realize she’s right. I forgot all about the appointment and missed it. But this is a way out of this weird and overall awkward situation.
“Yep!” I say, setting the bucket down. “Thankfully, I drove here today!”
Quickly stepping toward John, I’m trying to think of every way around him without needing to get too close to him. I lower my head and avert my eyes, trying to quickly walk past him.
“Nice meeting you, John,” I say and get stuck stepping around him anyway. “See you later McKenzie.”
I feel John’s hand brush past my shoulder like he’s trying to grab for me. I rush toward the door and quickly get outside.
The warm and fresh air brings relief to me, causing me to take a grateful deep breath of it. That short but awkward meet-and-greet with that billionaire weirdo just made me realize how grateful it was to have Devin around.
“You missed your appointment,” McKenzie announces as she walks out of the house, carrying the cleaning supplies. “It was scheduled twenty minutes ago, so you’re lucky I just saved you from that creep.”
“Oh, my God!” I pleadingly say and shake my head as I slide into my car. “He was freaking creepy! He was a good-looking guy, but good looks don’t cover weird, and he was fucking weird!”
“I know…Cassie. I’ve cleaned his place several times and every time he’s been weird. I’m picky about who I sleep with, but a billionaire could easily get into my pants, and I stayed clear of him.”
“I felt off around him, like something was seriously wrong with the guy” I say as I put the car in drive. “But I will see you tonight, right?”
“I’m heading home now. I took an early day since you did.” She explains while finishing putting the cleaning supplies into the vehicle. “And yes, you will feel off around him. I’ve never heard anything bad about him, but you’re right, he makes my stomach turn.”
“I’ll see you later.” I quickly say while pulling out of the driveway and waving my hand. “Sorry, I asked a question and left mid-answer! Love you, bitch!”
“Yeah! Yeah!” She yells back.
A part of me wants to message Devin, but another part of me wants to leave it be and make him wait. Either way, I’m not in a rush for anything. And what’s more, there’s something about me coming to Conway and finding the first and feeling something for him. I’m superstitious about that.
I just feel like that entire John thing made me want to connect with Devin, and the fact that I cannot stop thinking about that fucking kiss and his overly large bulge in his pants. Not to mention he saved me twice!
As I turn into the parking lot of the grocery store, I feel a sense of calmness inside of me. I’m away from John and I am considering messaging Devin.
I can easily go on another date with Devin tonight if I want to. I could get him to swoop me off my feet, marry me, and then I never have to worry about anything ever again. But then…that’s not who I am.
I jolt in my seat and my heart drops as my phone rings through the car speakers. I exhale a sigh of relief, forgetting I had the Bluetooth connected.
“You damn near gave me a heart attack!” I scold as I answer McKenzie’s call. “What can I help you with, beautiful woman!”
“Hey…” She says and pauses. “I forgot my key card for John's house at his house. So get this. I went back there and almost busted him masturbating. It was kind of fucked up and he didn’t notice that I noticed.”
“And you think I needed to know this, why?” I ask, shaking my head and proceeding to bite on a loose hangnail.
“Because!” She argues. “I had to see it, so you had to hear about it.”
“Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!” I say, stepping out of the car and turning the phone onto speaker. “I don’t care to know about what some billionaire was doing with his hand in his spare time.”
“Well, he left quickly.” She says, interrupting me. “He said he had to run to the store…Cassie, I think he’s coming…”
“Cassie?” A male voice calls from behind me. “Is that you?”
I spin around, pressing the phone against my ear and turning off the speaker. “John?”
Devin paces back and forth. The anger in his face is actually scaring me. The narrowing of his eyes and hard pursing of his lips go along with his tight fists.“He was at MY door! He came to MY house!” He roars, slamming his fist against the wall.“Devin.” I nervously and quietly tremble. “We are okay. Nothing happened to us.”“But you could have died!” He roars in anger even louder. “Someone did fucking die! On my front fucking stairs! And he was my best employee! If he would’ve saw what was coming, he would’ve killed that loser Jackson Cruz on the spot! God damn it!”“Babe!” I hesitate. “Please calm down. You’re scaring me.”His crazy-raged eyes look over at me. His tight fists gently stop swaying back and forth as he gives me his full attention. His eyes connect to mine, his anger slowly fading away. I watch as his angered expression turns to regret and confusion.“Cassie. I’m so sorry. I don’t mean to scare you. I’m…I’m just so pissed that I couldn’t be here when that asshole trie
“Surprise!” I yell as I walk into the living room. “Cassie.” McKenzie quickly announces, spinning around. The shock in her expression forces a small chuckle out of me. “What? Is this why Devin made me that deal? I should’ve known!” “Wait?” I say, dropping my brand-new duffle bag onto the couch. “You actually had no idea I was coming? I was under the assumption you knew.” “I had a feeling. But…” She pauses and steps around the couch. “I didn’t know you were coming! He honestly didn’t tell me. He called Brian and I told us we were staying for an extra week OR two and that one hundred thousand dollars was being transferred to each of our accounts for any work lost. And we both instantly agree with him.” “What up girl!” Brian’s voice yells from behind me. “I knew he was sending you back!” McKenzie scoffs, quickly turning her head toward him. “How did you know? I had a feeling, but I honestly didn’t know.” Brian’s lips
“You’re not staying here, Cassie!” Devin yells as he forces me toward the jet. “We need to get you out of here until it’s safe! Back to The Cayman Islands, whether you like it or not! I am not taking another risk!” “I don’t want to go, Devin!” I yell, shoving my hands against his shoulders and pushing him back. “I lost my fucking job! Do you hear me? I lost my God damn job!” “I don’t care!” He yells back, his eyes piercing into me as the anger radiates off him. “I will buy a hundred new places and you can choose any one of them to work for. But damn it, Cassie! Just fucking listen to me!” “Why? Because of a dead bird?” I ask as the anger pours out of me. My hands are shaky and my head hurts. My stomach is twisting and there’s a light spasm in it. I can feel the anger continuing to build inside of me as we fight. I’m ready to fight. But I want to fight the fuckers that are trying to hurt us. I don’t want to fight Devin. “No! C
“How long?” I text McKenzie. “I need you home!”“In two days!” She writes back. “How has it been staying with Devin? How does it feel being the girlfriend of a billionaire?”“It’s annoying. I feel like he’s following my every move!”“Like a lost puppy? Awe! That’s so freaking cute!”“No!” I reply, getting pissed. “Like a fucking stalker! I love the man but damn I can’t take a piss without him needing to be around.”“Well! In his defense you are a very valuable asset now and many people are getting word that Devin Deacon has a new love interest and he has hurt a lot of people in life to get to the position he is in right now. So, I can kind of side with him. He might seem stalkerish or crazy. But babes! He’s doing the same thing I would be doing.” I sigh and look out the window at the beautiful ocean water, slowly waving in today. “I hate to admit it, but you’re right. I never thought about it like that until you just wrote that to me. He’s an amazing guy and I love that he
The jet is running and ready. Brian and McKenzie do not look like they want to leave, and neither do I. Devin already said we could stay longer but I can’t lose my job and I don’t care what Devin says, I am not allowing his ‘power’ to grant me keys to places I don’t need to be.I have a job and just because he is my boyfriend should not let that job allow me to just work when I want to. It’s not fair to other people who don’t have that option, and my grandfather always taught me to be fair in life.“We can stay just a few more days!” McKenzie argues as we step closer to the jet.“Not all of us have paid time off like you do, McKenzie!” I argue. “And not all of us own our businesses like Brian and Devin do. I have a job that I just started and I need to show responsibility. We’ve already lied about having this trip planned, so yes, we have to return home.” “Or!” Brian interrupts raising his hand like he’s in high school. “You could go and we could stay. McKenzie still has f
“Dude!” McKenzie yells from the front door. “Brian is getting his ass handed to him by three guys right now! Devin we need your help!” I spin around, finding Devin already rushing to the living room and toward the front door. I quickly jump out of the dining room chair and rush toward the living room. My feet slap against the bare floor as I don’t even bother getting my sandals. “What in the hell is going on?” I yell as I catch up to Devin and run outside. I look across the street and at the beach. Brian is in a fistfight with four guys, which for Brian being alone he’s doing one hell of a job. I can see the blood on some of the men's faces, although they are not giving up. “What the fuck is going on?” Devin yells as he runs across the street, his fist prepared to swing. The drop in my mouth is wide as I watch Devin jump in midair and drop down with a hard punch to one of the guys. The guy drops to the ground, clearly knocked
“Babe!” I pleadingly complain. “Are you coming?” His rapid panting and faster thrusts into me have already answered that question for me. I’m grateful for the pleasure he gave me, but this was unexpected. “I…” He says and pauses, thrusts harder into me, his cock releasing into me. “Cassie, I have no idea what the fuck happened or how I’m coming already. I just couldn’t hold off any longer.” “It’s okay.” I softly say, still receiving pleasure from him slamming against me. “Just keep going, I can force myself to cum.” That wildfire inside of me doesn’t feel like there is enough ‘gasoline’ on it to get me to orgasm, but Devin did that for me already. I can’t be needy, but if I thrust myself harder against him, I might be able to finish. “Lift me up,” I command, looking into his sex-drunk eyes. “Raise me and fucking use me like a sex doll. I’m almost there.” His hand slides around the back of my head, and his other ha
I shiver as his tongue flicks against my nipple. My naked body is his playhouse as his hand slides across my lower pelvis and toward the warmest most pleasurable spot of my body. My soft breaths brush past his face. “You’re teasing!” I quietly whimper. “You wanted me to tease you.” He playfully argues, gently running his finger across my clit and causing a shockwave of pleasure to ripple across my body. “So, I’m teasing you by gently rubbing you in every sensitive spot.” “Yes…you…are!” I softly plead. “Now, shut up and keep going!” “If I shut up, that means my mouth is only going in one direction, and that’s down.” “I’m not against it,” I say, my tone soft and needing. “So, do whatever it is you want to do. Do it.” He presses his hands against the bed, raising himself as his eyes stare into mine. “I will.” He softly speaks as he slowly slides down my body, his warmth covering me as his mouth lowers to my stomach.
“So, what do we do now?” I ask as I walk out of the bathroom, drying my hair while the other towel wraps around me tightly. “Go back home? I’ll be fine if we go back home. There’s nothing left here for now until we know for certain that Jackson has returned home.” “You’re right, Cassie. But we can’t leave just yet. Neither one of us has anything to do when we get home anyway. So, just enjoy the vacation while you can. I have a few things to finish up.” I scoff while finishing drying my hair with my towel. “What in the hell makes you think I have nothing to go home to? I do have a job that can and will fire me if I miss too much.” “They won’t fire you. The owner owes me money…and quite a bit. He knows to never touch you or McKenzie. And that means he can never touch you.” “You bribed the owner?” I yell, arguing as I walk toward the dresser. “You can’t just bribe whoever you want to, Devin! Life doesn’t work like that!” “And I
