Maisie tried to go home as late as possible but eventually, she had to leave, so she left. She entered her apartment and tried to shut the door as quietly as possible. She was not above sneaking into her bedroom just to avoid Zach. In fact, she was hoping he was already asleep so that she could escape the awkward dumping speech that Zach would give when he sees her.
As she tiptoed to her room, Zach switched on the light with an eyebrow raised. " Really? Maisie sneaking in? "
" Hey, don't judge the way I chose to enter my home. " Maisie said as she folded her hands across her chest and pinned Zach with a glare as if she had just caught him doing something wrong.

It has been a week and Maisie was barely existing, she went through the motions of her everyday life but that was what it was. Motions.
