Chapter 16: The Friends

When Rye knocked on the door, a woman opened it. She is about the same age as them. Her hair was green and purple, reaching her shoulders. She smiled when she saw them.

"What took you so long?" she asked Rye.

Rye chuckled, and Khali nodded. The girl nodded and grinned.

"Hello!" she said, smiling.

Khali smiled. "Hi!"

"Khali, she's Vi. Her real name is Violet, but..." said Rye.

"I prefer to be called Vi," Violet said suddenly. "Nice to meet you, sis," she said as she held her in her arms.

Khali was surprised by what she did.

"Let's get in." "We have been waiting for you for a while," said Violet.

Khali looked at Rye. He smiled at her, grabbed her by the back, and pushed her a little bit into the house.
