Chapter 34: The Flowers

They first took their friends to the university and then went to their university. They left early to avoid traffic. Rye took Khali to her college building as well. They last talked a while before friends caught them.

"About what happened earlier," Rye said. He wasn't sure what to say.

Khali looks at him. They stop walking in the hallway of Khali's college building. Everyone who walked past them greeted Rye, but he just ignored them.

"I am not upset or angry," Khali said. "Well, it's embarrassing to me, but..."

Rye looked at Khali, awaiting the next word she would say.

"It's a funny experience. I didn't expect it to feel like we were caught red-handed. I thought I was about to be eaten by tiles earlier." Khali told me to cut out her laughter.
