Chapter 59

The diary Elizabeth wrote was opened wide in front of the police officer I ws directed to deliver my case. I watched as he scanned through the pages without having to read it's content. When he got to the part where the handwriting went amiss, he looked up at me to question me about it.

"Did you forge this to incriminate a person?" He gave me stern look, aggressively pushed the diary to my side and stopped any bit of explanation from my mouth. "Please leave, we don't have time for this" he said before throwing his eyes to the screen of his computer.

"I have another proof...." I tried saying, he paid no heed to my contention as he got up from his seat and left me in my baffling position.

I felt a little disgusted at his behaviour but I had no time to dwell on a corrupt person who refuse to see the fact that was in front of his. I grabbed the diary and left the table.
