Alaric arrived at work with a cup of coffee in his hand and frowned when he saw two unidentified men at the front desk. They were talking to the receptionist and when she saw him enter; she told the two men, and they turned to look at him.

They stared at him for sometime then approached him; one man asked, “Are you Alaric Saint?”

“Yes, what seems to be the problem?” Alaric asked.

“We received a report that you were seen with a minor outside this building yesterday,” the man said.

Alaric’s fists formed at his side, he went over to sit on a chair and looked at them and said, “Okay, since you received the report, I do not mind answering your questions, but first, I want to know who reported me and when because the so-called minor visited me in the late morning hours, why did it take you so long to arrive, are you not worried that he could be dead?”
