Cassie walked closer to the alpha, her eyes crazy and wild. “I just need you to be honest with me, please.” Her voice and tone was way different from her body language.

She looked like she wanted to choke somebody while she sounded like she was being sweet and innocent. It was a trap, I think all of them in there knew that…including herself.

“Cassie, I wouldn’t cheat on you,” the alpha replied, keeping eye contact with her.

“You left with the omega hours ago, and now it’s night. You’re sweaty and your clothes are literally dirty like you have been lying on the ground. Just tell me the truth, I can handle it.”

“Can we please drop this? We went on a run.” He frowned. “You know that we have school tomorrow, right? We need to wake up early.” He turned and started to walk away but the girl stepped in front of him and shook her head. “Cassie, I am really not in the mood for this.” He looked annoyed.

She scoffed. “Look, if you want to f*ck her, you can. But only if that’s all you want to do

  • The Moon Goddess’s Mistake    Chapter 117. Meeting Mom

It felt like it was a dream, if he was being honest. Maddox stood there, looking at his mother. In that moment, all the anger and rage disappeared; locked away in his part of his mind to be used later. “Maddox,” The woman said, tears streaming down her face as she rushed towards him, pulling him in an embrace. She hugged him tightly, her heart pounding in her chest and emotions flooding her. He stood there, just in shock; his brain was trying to process all of this. How could this be real? It wasn’t, right? For years, he had made peace with the fact that he had lost his mom and dad. But to have his mother hugging him in a tight embrace was so confusing and comforting at the same time. He didn’t hug her back at first. He just stood there, trying to mentally chew on it all. But then he slowly wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back. He was much bigger and taller than her now. The last time he had seen her, she had been towering over him instead. Oh, how time was such a weir

Selena walked into the room, holding her breath. She did allow her mom to be the first to walk in, though. Her eyes soon fell on her sister, and her heart immediately sank. The girl looked so…so sick. She had lost so much weight, and her skin was pale as if she was a ghost. That was not how she had looked the last time she had seen her. And that was weeks ago. “My baby,” Her mom broke down, sobbing as she made her way towards the bed. The girl tried to sit up but was way too weak to do so. The woman did not need her to do that though because she had already held her daughter in her arms after closing the distance between the two of them. Selena stood by the door, just staring as her heart continued to thunder in her chest. It felt like time had stopped as she stared at her mom and sister. She felt a shiver run down her spine at the scene, followed by a few tears sliding down her face. She sniffled before wiping at her face with the back of her hand. She knew that her sister was n

Selena allowed herself to be hugged by the alpha; it felt so good to be in his arms. It was obvious that he cared about her, and that made her heart do backflips. She really did care about him as well. He then pulled away, but still had his arms around her, though. Then he closed the small distance between the two of them, but this time it was not for a hug but a kiss. His lips crashed into hers, and she was pleasantly taken aback. She soon melted into the kiss, and they were full-on kissing in no time. Their eyes instinctively closed, and they held onto each other as if the other person would disappear. For those few seconds, it was like everything in the world was right again. It was like all their stress and problems had disappeared. But like all good things, the kiss had to come to an end. As they pulled away from each other, they locked eyes, and Selena could not help but smile. Her heart was pounding in her chest. She wanted more of him. She was craving more of his touch and

Leon felt bad for the alpha, but there was nothing that he could do to change what was happening. The woman was already on her way to the pack, and she was beyond stubborn. She did not want to listen to him; she was going to do what she wanted to do, even though she had asked him for his advice. But only just not to take it. “We will figure things out, don’t worry,” He said to the alpha, flashing the guy a comforting smile. The alpha looked annoyed. He just scoffed faintly and then walked away, making his way towards the house. Leon stayed behind for a few long seconds before he finally decided to make his way towards the front door. As for Selena, she was in her room, and the shower was running. She was riddled with so much anxiety that it felt like she was suffocating. Why had she agreed to be the white-haired Luna and save the pack when she had also decided that she was not going to do that? Oh yeah, because her mom had explained to her perfectly how it would help the omegas m

When the omega started walking away, Maddox stopped her by saying, “Selena, we’re not done here.” His voice was hard and filled with authority. “I am your alpha, and you can not walk away from me when I’m not done talking to you.” His heart burned in pain when he did this, because you see, he really liked this girl. It felt like he had found his person, and using his power or authority on her was the last thing that he thought that he would have to do. But this was important. Not just for the pack, but for their relationship. He was piecing together that she was more of an avoidant. She liked to hide her feelings or emotions; she liked dealing with things on her own. She turned and looked at him, her face filled with an emotion that he could not really decipher. “Are you seriously doing this?” He took a step closer to her and released a sharp exhale. “Yes, I am,” He replied without breaking eye contact. “We have a lot to talk about; this is not only about you. So I’d suggest that

  • The Moon Goddess’s Mistake    Chapter 112. Refused Fate

Selena felt like this was the best thing she could do…being honest. She tried walking away, but the girl pulled her back, stopping her. “What…? Selena, you can’t just say that,” Cat replied, chuckling without humor. “You…you’re literally the white-haired Luna. You met the Moon goddess. This is your destiny.” “And I’m saying that I don’t want anything to do with it.” The red-haired girl scoffed faintly. “The dark prophecy is already upon us. Are you serious? We’re all going to die if you don’t start training now.” Selena sighed, looking at her friend. She wished that she wanted to help, but she did not, and after that talk with Malek, she didn’t think that was going to change any time soon. She knew that the girl did not really know what it was like to be an omega. Yeah, Cat was a hybrid, but anything is better than being an omega in this pack. In fact, in most packs. That was just the way things were. “I have never been more serious in my life,” The omega replied before turning
