Chapter 41 -Tobias
Zelena.
As I sat at the huge table in the room that Gunner called the hall, I was listening to him and Cole talking. Apparently more than half of the pack had elected to stay behind to help in the fight against the hunters. As much as I tried to argue with Gunner about sending them away with the others, it was useless. He just kept reminding me that he didn’t force them to stay and the more wolves to keep me safe, the better.
Gunner and Cole were organising where to position the extra pack members when Lupus pushed open the door.

Zelena.As I stomped back down the stairs, I found Gunner talking with Tobias, Cole and a man I hadn’t seen before. Zelena.“Come and see them off, they’ll want to see you” Dad said before disappearing back through the door.Gunner took my arms from around his neck and kissed my hand before leading me out onto the porch. Gunner.This is bad, Zelena needs help. I went to run for the house but the pain in my shoulder slowed me. Damn fucking bullet. I snapped my head back and changed back into my human form.
