42: Death of Will

Hector’s POV

It was not easy slithering past men who were on the lookout to capture me and take me to Max no doubt but I knew it would be better for me to go on my own to confront Max. He would act a bit less foolishly than if he had a crowd, then he would want to make an example of me and I know that my wolf will lose control and I will beat the crap out of him. If that happens that would only make people truly believe that I killed Alpha Jax and is now coming for his son.

As far as I was concerned, Alpha Jax cannot be dead. Max is playing games again and I know this is just one of the most stupid games he’s played so far.

When I got to the cellar, no one was there, not even Aidan. I was thinking about where Max could be when a young man spotted me, he was going to raise an alarm but I sped off to where he stood and snapped his neck. I didn’t really go hard with the neck-snapping so he wi wake up eventually.
