Beta Brent's POV

I was caught off guard when I discovered that my daughter, Olivia, had betrayed me to Alpha Devon. As a beta, I knew the consequences of being exposed to an alpha. My worst fears were confirmed when Alpha Devon revealed that he knew my true identity and my allegiance to Alpha Rodrigo, his arch-enemy.

The situation was dire. I had to escape before Alpha Devon could take any action against me. I knew that my life could be in danger, and I couldn't risk having him find out more about Alpha Rodrigo from me. I quickly began to take steps backward. I noticed the smirk on his face but I was too afraid to address that.

As I made my way out of his castle, I couldn't help but feel a sense of betrayal from my daughter. I had always tried to make her strong and independent, but she had always seen it as a punishment, and now it seemed that she had chosen a different path.
