Chapter 12

Natasha's POV

The guilt of lying to Ryan was eating me up,he has done nothing but been good to me since my staying in the hospital but I couldn't bring myself to tell him the truth.He is an Alpha in a class higher than mine, his world is entirely different from mine.

I heard rumors about him the most feared Alpha in the werewolf world and I don't understand how fate brought us together and now his seed was growing in my belly.My plan was to stay here for awhile and seek refuge in another pack but I was scared of what I might find outside Ryan's pack.

I had gone through a surgery and was recuperating, Ryan was always around and sometimes I wondered if the rumors about him were true as they said.

“How are you feeling?” Luke asked as he checked my vitals.

“Better.” I answered,at least I could sit down without any help.

But the issue was I had to use crutches to walk. I must say Luke was a skilled doctor.

“The Alpha wants you discharged today,he should be here in some minutes.” he glanced at his watch.

“Am I free to go?” I wondered if it was safe.

“Yes, you are free to go.” Luke smiled. “So?” He smirked.

“Is something wrong?” I chuckled,Luke was the playful type so I knew he wanted to joke about something.

Three weeks in the hospital made us become close. And I felt wanted no one had actually spoken to me like a friend.

“Are you dating Alpha Ryan?” He grinned.

“No!!” I yelled at him. “You shouldn't spread rumors like that.” I whispered.

Although we had a one night stand together and I'm pregnant, it doesn't give me the audacity to dream about life with him.

“Well.” He sang. “Considering the fact that he gave you his blood and you know that an Alpha can only share his blood with his mate.” He shrugged.

“Wait,what.” I blinked.

“Alpha Ryan gave me his blood?” I asked again.

“Yes,it was scary the day you were brought in he almost killed me.” Luke mimicked Ryan's behavior that day and I chuckled.

“There's nothing going on between Alpha Ryan and I,we are just friends.” I dispelled.

Since I told Ryan that the night we spent together was just a mistake and we shouldn't bring the matter up again , we settled on being friends.I didn't miss the painful expression he gave me but I still made the decision.

“Tell that to Alpha Ryan's eyes.” He rolled his eyes.

“Talking dirty about me now?” Ryan walked in at that moment.

“Nothing Sir.” Luke almost fell from shock when he heard Ryan's voice. “Excuse me Alpha,I have to attend to the other patients.” Luke dashed outside and I bursted into laughter.

“What were you guys discussing?” Ryan walked closer to my bed and I shifted backwards still laughing.

“Nothing Sir.” I pursed my lips so I could stop laughing.

“Luke is a bad influence, don't befriend him.” Ryan frowned.

“How are you doing Alpha?”

“Ryan” He corrected. “I'm doing great, I've come to pick you up.” He turned and started packing my things.

I grunted and picked my crutches and stood up. “I can do that sir.”

He turned to face me and I knew what he meant.

“I .. mean I can do it Ryan.”

“Good.” He smiled and continued packing.

I had no choice but to watch him pack, my heart tightened as I remembered the night when we had sex but soon shook the thought away.

“So…you are taking me to the pack house?” I asked Ryan when we were in the car.

“Yes.” He looked at me briefly before facing the steering.

“But…isn't that where you live?” I asked and he nodded.

I didn't like the fact that I was going to be staying with him, not with the huge secret of mine.

“Can't I stay with a pack member?”

“No, you will stay in the pack house.” He said in a final tone.

There was silence after that and I wondered if my words made him angry.The Storm Pack House was huge and massive,the Silver Claw Pack House was nothing compared to it.

“Let go.” Ryan came down from the car and helped me out.

He went over to the boot and took my things,I stood still admiring the artifact of the house when we entered.I couldn't get over the feeling that Ryan was still mad at me because he just walked away leaving me rooted at the spot.

“Natasha!!” A feminine voice screeched and I looked up to see who it was.

But I didn't know her?

“It's good to see you.” The lady ran and threw me in a hug.

If I wasn't holding the crutches for support I would have fallen. But I was confused because I had never met her before in my entire life.

“Oh, I'm sorry.” She pulled away from the hug and helped me walk.

“I'm Lisa, Ryan's sister.” She said as we were going.

Now I could see the familiarity in their features,so Ryan must have told her about me.

“I'm Natasha by the way.” I smiled.

“Ryan told me about you,we have a lot of catching up to do.” She smiled.

“Yeah.” I smiled sadly.

Once she finds out that I'm an Omega I guess she wouldn't be this cheerful around me.

Lisa took me into the room prepared for me and I couldn't help but gasp loudly in surprise.

It was spacious with a white marble floor pink walls and a white ceiling. The windows took up an entire wall,the room was light and felt open. A giant gold, crystal chandelier dangled from the ceiling. And there was a full length mirror,a vanity and a desk.

And the bed!

The bed was a king-size bed with huge duvet and pillows and the wardrobe was something beyond description.

“Who….stays…here?” I stuttered.

“You, of course.” She smirked. “Ryan had everything set up for you,if there's anything you don't like about the interior I'll change it.” She said and I shook my head.

“Everything is perfect.”

This is not like what I had been used to, Lisa opened the bathroom door and I peeped in. The sight was magnificent,the flooring and walls were of the same white marble and the bathtub was made out of giant rose quartz.

There were different kinds of bottles,bath oil,herbal bottles and bath bombs also.

I compared my room in the Silver Claw Pack and this together and I couldn't help but burst into tears.

“Natasha what's wrong?” Lisa asked worriedly but that didn't stop the tears.

“Can…you…give..me a moment.” I pleaded with Lisa. She sighed and walked outside.

When she was gone I cowered to the ground and wept bitterly.I felt a hand around me and I knew it was Ryan.

“Tasha.” Worries laced on his face.

“I'm sorry.” I wrapped my hands around him and cried harder.
