Chapter 2

When I woke back up, I was in a cage that looked like the basement, when I looked around I only saw one other person and it was a girl about the same age as me. I scooted closer to her, “Hey are you alright?”

She jumped turning towards me, “I am so sorry I didn’t mean to scare you my name is Da’Vina, but people call me Nina for short are you ok?”

She slowly sat up and I could see that her body was full of bruises, “You don’t want to let them here you speak, or they will punish you.”

“Where are we right now?”

She scooted a little closer to the cage, “We are in the cells at Alpha Victors pack, we have to obey, or he will hurt us.”

Before I could speak, I heard someone growl and when I turned towards the sound, I seen Alpha Victor.

“I see your awake.”

I looked towards the girl, and she already curled herself up in the corner of her cell. I turned back towards Alpha Victor and he smiled, “You truly are a beauty you will make wonderful pups my dear.”

I spit at the floor, “I will never bare you children!”

Before I could say anything else the cell door was open, and I was being hoisted off the ground by my throat. I kept trying to struggle but without Rudina here with me I didn’t have the strength to fight against him at least not right now with the drugs still in my system.

He threw me to the floor kicking me in the stomach, “You will do as you are told, or you will suffer.”

My brain must not understand the being quite part because once again I had a reply, and my mouth didn’t stop it from coming out. “I will never listen to you, you’re not my alpha.”

I seen the punch coming but I couldn’t move out of the way quick enough to dodge it. He connected with my face and darkness once again found me.

1 year later

“You little bitch you will pay for that!”

I don’t know why I always get myself into trouble, I had hit the Beta for trying to take advantage of me. I began running as soon as I did, but he was fast on my tail. He soon caught up to me grabbing me by my hair and dragging me back to the dungeons.

“You will be stuck here with no food or water for a week you bitch!!”

Again  my mouth seemed to run away before my brain could fully engage.

“ You act like that’s a new punishment for me” making sure to spit that word out with so much venom in it. I didn’t realizing I was letting my aura start to slip through. I had to bring it it my parents died keeping my secret I couldn’t let it out now. He looked taken back but just threw me in the cage locking it before walking back up the stairs.

“Rudina why can’t we just show them our true power we shouldn’t have to live like this after what they did.”

“ I know Nina but it’s not time yet they can’t find out who we truly are or we would be in great danger.”

 I just shook my head shutting my wolf out, I turned to see the only other person that I have cared for since my parents death curled into a ball in the next cell.

“Sharaya. Are you alright why are you down here?”

She rolled over and I immediately started crying, she had bruises all over her face and body. I ran to the cage sticking my hand through the bars grabbing her hand.

“I tried to fight him Nina I did but I am not strong enough.”

I could feel the tears streaming down my face,

“Nina you have to quit fighting them they are going to seriously injury you like they do me.

I squeezed her hand, “Sharaya you are stronger then you give yourself credit for and I will never stop fighting them we will get out of here soon just hang on a little longer please.”

I could see her smile, but soon she was asleep, Rudina and I listened to make sure her heartbeat was steady and even.

“Rudina we have to get her out of here they will kill her next time.”

“It’s not time yet Da’Vina just wait a few more days something is going to happen and only the can we escape just hang on a little longer protect her. We can take more then she can!”

I knew she was right and I wouldn’t let her die without putting up a fight. We sat down in that cage just fighting against the hunger and the thirst that surrounded us. We can take a lot but without food and water I don’t know how long we would survive. Sharaya got out of the cells after two days and has been sneaking us water but on the third day she got caught and I haven’t seen her since. I am covered in bruises from keeping them away from her while she was down here but what they don’t know is Rudina was purposely healing them slowly.

We made the mistake of healing them fast one time and the Alpha noticed he beat me trying to get me to answer how I did it but I wouldn’t break. I turn eighteen the next full moon and he believes me to be his mate and I pray to the goddess that she didn’t pair us together. You see I got my wolf at the early age of ten and my parents hid it from the world until Alpha Victor came and took away my entire pack.

I heard someone coming down the stairs and I smelled him before I even saw him.

“Victor what do you want come to see me suffer some more.”

He just laughed at me, “That is Alpha to you omega!”

I snarled my lip up, “ You will never be my Alpha Victor.”

He approached the cage, “ You are correct about that you are only a breeding machine.”

“ I will never be a breeding machine for you Victor nor will my body ever be yours!”

He snarled so loud the whole dungeon shook, “You will be mine wether you want to or not! The next full moon is tommorrow or have you forgotten. You will be taken to the room and cleaned up I will not mate with you when you smell like this.”

 I growled at him Rudina was trying to come out I was struggling to contain her.

“ Don’t worry my little pet we can have our fun tommorrow night don’t be impatient.”

I finally won over control as Victor was leaving the dungeon. Soon we were taken from the cage and brought to a room but this was a special room that nobody has escaped before.

“Rudina what are we going to do if he is actually our mate?”

“If the moon goddess paired us with him, she must have done it for a reason but Nina we will reject him no way I could be with this man after everything he has done.”

“Have you felt Sharaya?”

“Actually, I talked to her wolf, she was able to escape by pretending she was dead. Which she almost did she found a pack willing to take her in and are waiting for you to escape she said they will take you in as well.”

That’s good, I shut her out going to take a hot shower but the only clothes I could find were skimpy clothes. Of course this is all he left in here I kept searching until I was able to find a sweater and pants to at least pull over this thing. I went into the bathroom looking at myself, The brown hair dye that was in my hair had started to fade and I could see speks of white coming through, and the ice blue contacts that I had in to cover my true eyes were dry and made me look like I had no will to live.  I have no meat on my bones and look like a walking skeleton. My body was covered from head to toe from the beating I received while in that damn cell.

I turned towards the shower turning it on as hot as I could stand it before getting in letting the water wash over my body. Tommorrow was coming fast and I needed to prepare, Rudina told me awhile ago that would be when we escaped but I so wanted to leave tonight. I got out of the shower pulling my clothes on as no towel was left for me before going to the bed.

“Go to sleep Nina I will watch over us!”

With that one sentence I allowed sleep to overcome me.
