Chapter 10

"Please," Alyssa begged as if she knew that Zane was inside the room. She was almost kneeling on the ground as she gazed up to the other who seemed l,95m tall.

The village head looked back at his house and looked down at her before sighing. "He went out," he told her not giving any location or the time he had left.

After listening to her continuous pleas, he dismissed her saying that he had to go freshen up. After watching him enter the house, she thought of sneaking in but after thinking it over she cast that idea out of her mind.

They were leaving off of him. She couldn't cause him more trouble. He had provided them with a home and food, she couldn't let her ethics be reduced to nothingness by just one foolish thought.

Feeling defeated Alyssa went back to the other two. Finding Daliah playing draft with Adanna.
