"I- uh" I glanced at the clock behind him. "A...a... School has ended." I didn't lie though, school just end 10 minutes ago.
Dad crosses his arms over his chest, raising his brows. "Oh really? I thought it needs 25 minutes to arrive here." I laugh awkwardly "It does but the teacher has been nice to us so they decided to let us out early." My dad narrowed his eyes looking suspiciously at me. I didn't blame him though cause my excuse was pretty unconvincing.
My dad still giving me that look. The one that says don't-you-dare-lie-to-me look. "Okay fine you got me."

That's strange, he usually always made a snarky remark at me. That's so unlike him. "Hey, are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired."
