It was as if Amaya was racing time itself, once we got out of the open road and started to encounter traffic I could feel the breath I was holding in release at every stop light and sign. “Where are we going? Amaya The drive back to the barrier was like a breath of fresh air. There wasn’t any chaos, no one to tell us what we were meant to be doing; just us alone. Sadly, we didn’t get to stay in the hotel as long as I had hoped, but being with Jasper was all I had wanted. When we pulled up to the barrier entrance, it seemed different than when we had come. Amaya I didn’t know whether to consider the coronation as a wedding or a very overdressed prom. Erica took me outside the barrier to get a dress that the people of the town didn’t make. Jasper I knew it was coming, I tried to prepare myself but in that moment nothing mattered. Amaya In a land where no one needed or wanted anything for you. It seemed so close yet so far. A field filled with blue roses that were rare to see grow. I walk in a white dress that reaches my feet. I touch and admire all the petals, I feel a drop of water on my head. I look up and it was a perfect blue sky. Then another drop, then another, and another. They kept coming and coming. Jasper I'm tired. Tired of looking for her, Tired of the pressure, Just. Tired I was looking from the balcony window, out onto the large land. My father had sent me on another trip to find my mate. But once again, I come up empty-handed. I have been looking for her ever since I turned twenty, it will be a year in four months. I was so lost in thought, I didn't hear my name being called. Amaya I slowly became more aware of where I was. I could feel something under me, maybe one of my friends found me. Or was I dead and thought I'm on a bed? I started to force myself to try and open my eyes it was easier than I thought it would be. Once they were opened I started to look around, I was not in the hospital. I sat up in the very big king-size bed, and I look around the room. To my right was a door that I look like led to the bathroom. I looked in front of me and saw a door that looked like it was the closet dresser, more to the right there was a huge tv on it and more to the left there was a door that looked like it lead the outside. I turned to the big glass door that leads to a balcony. I could smell a weak scent of cinnamon and apple. The more I smelt it, the more I wanted it. I started to hear footsteps coming closer and closer. I quickly stood up on went next to the door, to surprise the person. My dad said the element of surprise was great when trying to escape.
