It was slowly but surely getting closer and closer to my birthday. I hadn't liked my birthday but this was the cherry I didn’t need on this horrible day.

I had been strategizing how I would run the pack with Amaya and Chloe, ideally, it would be Amaya but I needed to plan for the worst. I wanted to stay in the fantasy that there was a chance that we could be together, and that my father hadn't made a horrible decision for me.

As my birthday came up so did the responsibilities of becoming alpha. My father was giving me all of the passcodes and telling me how he had organized the pack and all of its information.
