(Two weeks later)
“How did you talk me into this.” I fidget nervously. The combination on my nerves and my excitement battling for control. We are walking into the most exclusive sex club in the city. Sarima, my dearest and wildest friend got me and Ivy entrance for the night. The theme is masks and play. We had just gotten out of the company car from Ivy and taken a few rounds of shots to calm my nerves.
“Sweetie, let’s be honest. Between Cordell’s ass and your boss Rowan making your life a living hell, you need this! A night where you can release all your tension and try your best to not control a situation!” Samira states through her golden venetian mask that matches her golden mini dress. She isn’t wrong. My work life is just as fucked up as my personal life. Rowan is the new acting manager as his father deals with health issues. Except I was doing the entire job at my marketing firm. I was a shoe in for the position yet nepotism wins and in swoops his whore of a son from the London office.
“Ivy, you won’t have any problem getting action tonight. You look amazing.” She smiles striking a pose as my phone goes off. I look down to see Cordell texting me once again. Since the phone calls and flowers didn’t work. I smirk with an exhale.
“Cordell?” Ivy asks. I nod in frustration.
“Here, let me.” Samira takes my phone. Types a message then shuts it off.
“Oh my god. What did you say?”
“I told him you were about to get pounded in a sex club and not to call back. Then I shut it down. He will be having a horrible night!” Samira replies as I laugh from the image of his frustration alone. We make it to the hostess who processes us.
“Here are your wristbands for the night. Masks must stay on at all times. All phones must be collected for privacy reasons.” The hostess tells us. We give over our phones as they are secured in lockers and we put on bracelets. We move away from the coat check and Samira takes my wrist. I feel a cool metal item on my skin.
“What is this?” I see a silver and black bracelet locked in place with a digital light flashing. “I’m about to be sold in the sex trade am I right? I knew our friendship was too good to be true.”
“No! Okay be open minded about this. Ivy and I agreed you needed to release some tension more than any of us. So…” Samira begins looking to Ivy.
“We got you a Dom. You will relinquish all control which we know is so hard for you to do. He will take care of all your needs.” Ivy says and I see her bite her lip from the exposed part of her mask.
“You two have lost your minds. Its confirmed!” I fidget to get it off.
“Only he has the key to remove it. He has been vetted and I promise your safety.” Samira adds pulling me along into the club. I mean they know me well. They know I have always wanted to try a little of the Dom and Sub lifestyle. I just never met a man dominant enough for me.
“Okay, I will give it a try but if I end up on Law-and-Order Special Victims Unit, I promise to haunt you both forever.” I tell them as they laugh.
“That’s my girl!” Samira adds.
“There are no more surprises, correct? This is it?”
“We promise. So, let’s get some liquid courage inside us before we get something else inside us!” Samira says loudly and a few people around us turn and smile. I follow them to the bar. There are large dark couches sporadically around the club. A huge dance floor with dim lights everywhere. On the dance floor one-woman dances with a woman in front of her running her hands over her body while a man stands behind doing the same. She takes turns kissing each of them.
“Here!” Ivy yells over the music passing me a drink. Taking a gulp looking out on the dance floor. I swear for a moment I caught a glimpse of a man in a matching mask. I wonder if he is my Dom? Following the girls I fidget with the bracelet. I wonder will he be able to handle how strong willed I am.
I get handed a double shot since I’m now holding an empty glass. I nod in appreciation downing it quickly as a very broad guy in a silver mask walks up to Ivy and whispers in her ear.
“We meet up right here at midnight.” Samira yells as we nod through our masks. Samira heads off with a couple in matching masks. I finish off my drink calming my nerves and decide to walk around. I enter the first dark hall and peek in the room. On the left is a woman strapped to an X as a female Dom uses a toy on her teasing her withholding orgasm. On the right side, there is a couple on a bed in the center of the room. Couples stand around watching and touching on one another. Moans escaped the woman on the bed as her partner drives roughly into her. I pass a gentleman he takes my hand. Seeing my bracelet he immediately let’s go. God. Who is this man they want to steer clear of? What have my girls gotten me into? The woman’s moans bring my focus back to the room as she is taken from both ends.
“Does this turn you on?” A deep voice comes from behind me. I begin to turn but his hands catch my hips, stopping me from seeing him. “Don’t speak. You are not allowed to. You may nod yes or shake your head; do you understand?” The power and confidence in his voice instantly turns me on and piss me off at the same time. Still, I nod my head yes. “Good girl.” I refuse to fall for these two words. Still, I feel goosebumps cover my skin with anticipation. “Are you ready to give me control?”
RowanWatching the camera footage, I saw that they had moved her to another vehicle. I did get the face of the guy who grabbed her. It was Cordell. Her ex-boyfriend and some other guy who kept his face away from the camera. I have given my connections at the police station all the info we found. I pray that they find her with these guys before I do. If I get there first, there will be dead bodies on the floor. Not mine and not Selene’s. “Did you find anything out?” Allister walks into my office. One of my tech guys is going over all the cameras looking for the second vehicle. Trying to locate where they are holding her. The crazy part is they haven’t called with any ransom demands. So, I am sure Cordell thinks he is getting her back. This can’t be all for him to reclaim my woman, can it? “We have eyes out looking for the white van they changed over to.” I tell him as his twin Camden walks in on his phone. “We have Lee trying to find her phone. It is currently off but th
SeleneI scan around the room trying to figure out where I am. How long have I been unconscious? I’m not sure. But Cordell seems well rested. Or maybe he seems more high-strung. I feel like I don’t even know him anymore to figure out which version of him this is. “Cordell. What do you mean you and I are going to be together?” I ask him as I try and wiggle my fingers. Trying to keep them from falling back asleep. “Well, we deserve another chance. You and I had something really wonderful. I know I didn’t show you all the very best of me but I know you better than anyone. The Selene I knew would never run off and get married. There has to be some reason for it? Did he force you into this?” Cordell asks me as he begins pacing. “Hey, no one made me do anything like that. It just happened Cordell. That’s all. We were together for a bunch of time and you never wanted to get married. You broke up with me remember?” “I know!” He yells at and I am startled. I have never hear
RowanI run at full speed down the street. I keep the van in my eyesight. As I turn the corner to keep up on foot pushing myself. The burning in my chest makes me feel like I am on fire. Then my driver William pulls up slamming on the breaks. I hop inside and he floors it. I also see a security detail chasing them as well. “Faster. We are losing them!” I yell in frustration as the van is getting farther away. I call Theron on speaker as we weave through traffic. “Black van license plate is dark but I can make out the last three digits are two three five. I need you to find this car. Tap into whoever you know. They have Selene.” There is a literal ache in my chest saying this out loud because it means its true. Its not just a bad dream. The two guys I had on her were knocked out and the other was shot. They are both with Samira and Ivy going over everything with the police. This is while they are on the way to the hospital. I am totally fucking stumped about who could b
SeleneI wake up in a windowless room. I am tied to a chair with tape over my mouth. I feel drugged as my head has been drooping forward. I can hear classical music playing as well as a water feature. Maybe some sort of rock wall display. I am trying to lift my head up but I feel so heavy. My neck hurts from where I was stabbed with a needle. What do I remember. Try and focus Selene. I am in the room alone but I don’t know for how long. Think! What happened and how did I get here? I try and move my arms as they feel heavy from hanging behind my back tied to the chair. I feel its zip ties that are really snug. I also feel them on my ankles and my shoes are gone. I’m still in my gown since that is all I can see. The last thing I remember was being at the gala. The one Rowan and I worked on for weeks while also working so damn well together. Okay, keep thinking on it. I remember that I was at the gala. I spoke with Samira and Ivy before the event started. Then I recall meeting
RowanTalking to Mr. Feathering I am so drawn to the conversation going on next to me. I want to rescue her from these vultures but I need to let her fight her own battles. “Yes Mr. Feathering, we can work on a new ad for the summer items. Not a problem.” I pull out my phone and message my personal assistant. Letting her know to make an appointment. “Done. I will have my assistant Zoe get it touch with you Monday.” “Very well Rowan, I look forward to it. So, I heard you got married. Is this the beautiful woman right here? What a great pick.” He smiles leeringly at Selene and I want to punch him in the face for even looking at her like this. “Yes, she is the best thing to happen to me. I am so very lucky she agreed to marry me.” I tell him pulling her close. “We must make our rounds. Please make sure you have a good time.” I continue through the crowd. Speaking with others that we pass. Stopping to make sure that we did have conversations with them all. “So, I have
SeleneSince the second letter, I have been given my own security detail that has to go everywhere with me. Brick and Will are the two men who spend a whole lot of time with me. Samira and Ivy find them quite entertaining. When we are all together, I have to keep them from flirting. I mean, the guys are attractive. Add military experience and a saving people complex they are everything a romance book needed. I am constantly telling my friends to leave them alone. Luckily, they don’t bother then when we are in public. Tonight, we are having a party at the Kimpton Hotel in Manhattan. On the top floor where there is a glass ceiling security so tight I will be surprised if I am on the list. This is the first event we have hosted but will not be the last. I invited my girls Ivy and Samira. All the office staff as well as all of the clients. I am one floor down with my security team. Rowan is doing a walk through making sure it is to his standards. I can already hear the music pla
