Mitsuhide was called up to the stand first. He had to go over the things that he saw firsthand on his sister’s condition in the facility. “That was perfect.” The DA said to her as they walked back to the room where the witnesses were being held. She had almost forgot about the things that went on before she took the stand. She was riding a high of knowing that she probably sealed the deal on Cindy’s conviction with her testimony. She was smiling when she entered the room. It was beyond a smile, though. They got everything ready to go to the courthouse for the day. She knew taking them would set her family off, and she didn’t care. She wanted Cindy to see that the babies were hers now, and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
