“That was perfect.” The DA said to her as they walked back to the room where the witnesses were being held. She had almost forgot about the things that went on before she took the stand. She was riding a high of knowing that she probably sealed the deal on Cindy’s conviction with her testimony. She was smiling when she entered the room. It was beyond a smile, though. It was that she was beaming in a way. She knew after that Cindy would be put away for the longest possible time. All because her lawyer brought it up.
“That is a nice look,” Mitsuhide said as he looked at his wife who was smiling with the happiest smile, he had seen her with, probably ever. “What is for?”

They got everything ready to go to the courthouse for the day. She knew taking them would set her family off, and she didn’t care.
