Chapter Nineteen - Mate's

Kari POV

I sighed as I looked out of the window of the beautiful castle I was now staying in. We returned that night after my father had shown the King that photo. If I thought the West Nordic Pack was stunning, this castle and its lands hidden in the mountains of Scotland were unbelievable. The gardens were massive and there were flowers I had never seen before. The most beautiful were those deep purple roses that were in the middle of it all. The room I was staying in was exactly how I imagined a fairytale castle looked. The stone walls, the big mahogany wood four-poster bed that I need a step to climb into, and the posts hand carved into an intricate design. There was a fire built directly into the stone walls. it was lit to keep the chill-out. The door was a big heavy oak door with black metal hinges and a ring door handle with a latch.
