Chapter 13: The Deal

Eliot Park’s POV

I was blinking my eyes when I was looking at this woman in front of me. she asked me to cancel the condition on number six which was generous enough for Astrid as I know that I will not ask her to be in my bed if she did not want to.

But right now, she was confusing me. she wanted the condition’s gone. Was she mad or something.

“Are you sure about this? you know I would never force myself onto—“

“I am sure. I know you would think this will be a silly reason to believe in but I look at marriage’s vows as something precious. Something sacred. And if you think for a moment that I will allow infidelity running around in my marriage then you have to choose someone else,” Astrid said with her amber orbs burned into my mind. I blinked my eyes as my heart was soaring with her proclamation.

But would she be okay if I was to ask her to fulfill my carnal desire?

I cleared my throat before I was sipping on the black coffee that I ordered earl
