Chapter 84: Ticking down the hours.

Nikolai's POV

Hour one of the timer.

"You can't say that!" Sierra says with a little hitch in her voice. The ever-perfect, strong and independent woman is giving me a scolding for saying something I do genuinely fucking mean when this is happening to her.

Not me. Her.

"And why not?"

Because you just can't... You can't say that... you can't just tell us someone has a death wish. I mean, what if your office has been bugged with a listening device? My phone or even your phone," she goes on with her ranting and her "What ifs", but the only question I have is...

What if they manage to get to her? Then what? Her life is not something I take lightly, and I have screwed up more times than I can probably count, but I refuse to ever put her life in danger again.

"Will you just breathe, woman?" I say on my own exhale. I hate that she's feeling this crap over it. Scared yet won't show it. I can fucking feel it, so I know it's a facade she's putting on.

Chapter 92: He chose me.Sierra's POVTrigger warnings ahead: In chapter 92, you will find discussions of past traumas, and there will be revenge, torture, blood and tension from unresolved conflicts. "What's the damage?" I ask the surgeon as he looks down at his work. No frown in sight, so that must be a bonus, right?"Nothing a little rest won't solve, Luna", he says, and I nod my head. His mom is sitting on his other side as his dad walks the doctor and the surgeon out. "Rest", Maeve laughs as if the word is an insult."He's going to fight it, you know that", I say, but I'm not looking at her. I'm looking at the man on the bed.I went and checked on many of the other men who went with him, and they all had a clean bill of health.More concerned for their Alpha than they are for themselves."You know they are here, don't you?" she says, and I nod my head. What a way to meet your biological parents."What if I can't do it?" I ask and sniff. My emotions come into everything right no

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 91: A True...Luna

Chapter 91: A True...LunaSierra's POV(2 Hours earlier) Trigger warnings: This chapter of The Omega Agreement has scenes that some people may not like. Talk of blood loss, Killing, Abuse, fainting and needles. Is it just me, or does the clock tick louder when the house is quiet? Each second feels like a hammer against my chest. It's been two hours since Nik left the house. He shouldn't have gone out for that long...surely? "Sierra, Love, come and sit down. I have made us some tea. It's bad for you to keep worrying. He's an Alpha, and he can take care of his own," Maeve says as she guides me from the window of the living room that overlooks everything in the daylight, but at night, it's as dark as it gets. "I can't just sit here", I try to get out, but my voice feels tight. Like it's closing in on me. "The storm outside has grown worse —""And there is nothing you or I can do about it. Mike has gone out in search of them as well, and he knows what he's doing, okay?" She asks, but

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 90: You decent Damiano?

Chapter 90: You decent, Damiano?Nikolai's POV"What is your fucking problem!" I snarl at her and dig my claws in deeper. Rex wants to show her domination and to get her to willingly submit to me before I do anything else, but that's my rational side. My irrational side is telling me to slice her throat open and see which one of her many followers cowers before me first."You knew you would be dead if I had found you. How the fuck did you escape so fucking easily in a very guarded area of my pack?" I ask her, and she shifts uncomfortably. Good."She took everything I had!""Who?" I ask her, but deep down I already know her answer. Her jealousy is obvious."That bitch! That fucking woman you call-""Finish that sentence, and I will fucking end you. Morals be damned!""I loved you! I wanted the life with you we always spoke about," she whines. Her wolf is fighting against me, and deep down, she isn't stopping it, but she knows she can't go against me and win. She isn't of Alpha blood. S

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 89: Remember what Mom used to say?

Chapter 89: Remember what Mom used to say?Nikolai's POV"Well, this just got interesting," my best friend says, turning to the crowd we have around us. What I presume was a growl that came from him was probably his playful one, as one of them takes a step back before composing themselves."Amateurs", I mutter, and I can feel Rem's energy bounce from him, and I can see the excitement about taking them on in the way he can't stand the fuck still. He may as well tap dance with his bloody paws at this rate.It might confuse them long enough to give us a moment to strike.Their scent hits me first. Not so sweet. Not so familiar and all kinds of fucked up.That rose lay on the floor just past us. Taunting me. The note, once again, taunts me when I need everyone here to fuck off. I need to take it back and see what we can get from it, but paws and drool land on it instead. Creating that mess I hate. I hate messes, and I wish I had grabbed it when I had the chance, but my stupid, slow brain

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 88: The Hunt

Chapter 88: The Hunt.Nikolai's POV "We're to Alpha?" Rem asks about the tenth time in the last twenty minutes."We didn't find what we were looking for the other night", I start, and I find myself blocking all emotions out—all feelings except for rage and pain."But tonight we are finding whatever it takes to find that delivery guy""Did we get a name?" My brother asks, and I nod my head, feeling Rex grin as we run through the woods. One thing I love more than anything in this god awful world is the woman in our home, waiting for me to come home alive and well. And I will deliver the guy I need right to her feet with nothing but a wicked grin on my face the entire time.Kicking and screaming if I need to."Eddie Graham's", I say through my link that we have open. All the men I have brought with me are familiar with the drill. No one attacks first. Eddie is harmless in a sense. He has a clean record. His mother is in a care home due to medical reasons. He has a sister who lives in W

He uses my child against me. Uses the love I have for her against everything I vowed to protect her from.Sierra isn't a suitable child for what he wants, and what he wants makes me sick to my stomach. She's just turned 12. She's just a child. She's my baby. My life, and I wouldn't trade the life I have for anything. It may have started on rough, rocky terms, but once she got settled and the news started to dwindle on her disappearance, it was easy.
